Subject: been having trouble with passwords, not here but other accts


this whole past week, I had trouble signing into my Xfinity email, account, etc. The usual password didn't work on any of our devices, so had to start all over again. Same now with amazon, so is anybody else going through passwordmageddon?
Actually I think it was on Xfinity's end, maybe they got hacked, who knows? I was back and forth on the phone for 2 days before it finally got straightened out!

hi Jeff, no guests or family over since 2 weeks ago. I actually think that a couple of the websites that rejected my password without a 2nd authentication, were being overly cautious on Black Friday and again on Cyber Monday. There were so many news reports, especially here in Oregon where the FBI put out a press release warning folks to be wary of scams, phishing attempts, etc., so might be the reason?

Seems to be ok now but if Comcast ever does that to me again, I'll switch providers!
