Hi Ryan,

a few years ago, I would say in 2013 or 14 most likely, around the
same time of year, August and/or September, you posted
something about a fellow from Holland who had invented a new
mathematical method to construct music or musical scales.
Unfortunately, I cannot find the link to his website in my various data
containers and I don't remember his personal and website names.

He may have hailed, as they say in Startrek, from Gravenzande, a
place near The Hague, but I am not sure about that.

He had also developed a mathematical approach to earthquake
prediction if I am not mistaken. Your post may have been on the
geology or science boards.

The person in question is not Frank Hoogerbeets from ditrianum
whose work I am familiar with, more or less, and also not another
fellow from England, who has discovered ancient knowledge. You
may have posted about all three of them in one and the same place.
But I am not certain about that either.

Can you check if you have any links which could fill in the gaping void
which I am trying to fill here?

Thanks for your attention.

Hi Ryan,

thanks for taking the time.

I believe it was on earthwatchers or science boards as, according to
my recollection, it had some geometric or numerical elements
pertaining to earthquakes.

My memory is a bit foggy regarding the matter. But perhaps the fog
will lift when I dwell on the open question long enough.

Perhaps Awen's remark on Rens Bod will help dissolving the fog. It is
about as dense as summer fog in SF. And you know what that
means.

Unfortunately, my current operating system has some issues with
SSL handshakes. So I cannot access Rens Bod's page on the
University of Amsterdam's website and other sites which use the
same quirky SSL variation.

Or Aline Honingh?

If that sounds right but you can't access the site, let
me know.

Hi Awen,

what I found on Rens Bod sounds very interesting but the name does
not ring a bell (yet). Concering Aline Honingh I just started to search
around a bit. Appears interesting too.

The person I have in mind had a personal website and an address in
West Holland close to the beach because I remember looking it up
on a map, if my memory is supplying correct bits here.

On the site were examples of the mathematical construction
principles. One of them I copied physically by writing it down on a
piece of paper. It involves a series of numbers.
