This stuff gets real old--if they can't stand behind
their posts with their recongnized names...why should
anyone read them? What does that say about their own
cowardice in posting?

I do not think their name has much to do with it. It's that whole
messenger verses the message thing, and I would rather look for
something of substance, or the lack of it, in the message, than get too
hung up on ol' what's his name.
The problems overlap when the messenger post's utter crap verses
stimulating conversation and as such doubles down and opens
themselves up as a target.
We can choose to read something or not, but the choice of whether the
forum is filled with that sort of crap, and as such dumbs down the entire
forum, is obviously up to admin. One can hope there is a path forward
where, rather than being insulted as it is so often is these days, our
intelligence is honored.. and stimulating conversation can ensue.
As it is now the entire experience is being weighed down by those who
are susceptible to the manipulative forces in our society. Forces who's
goal is to divide and deceive. As they have so effectively done here.
Petty tyrants are ok.. as far as petty tyrants go. But who needs to live
with them day after day? They just gets old.. tiring.
