How do you create the cartoonish looking profle pics you see in chat forums etc?
I assume you paste a pic of yourself to a program and then it creates one for you but I have not found it.
Something like these.......

Avatars are subversive ways to track someone?
I was going to use it on Twitter.
Will it reveal more about me than I want to show?
The reason I was going to use a 'cartoon' is to avoid using my real image which I won't do in public.
Privately, sure but not publicly....I am not a public figure and I am not a published author.
FB has some remarks buried in their user agreement that say if you post a pic ....any pic......it belongs to FB.
Do other social forums use pics to track us?

Once you become a member of forums that support avatars you either
A. upload a picture of your own (could be a photo, could be just about anything....I could use a photo of a water bottle or a carpet thread, or draw a line in some basic art program and use that as an avatar pic),
or B. if the forum has the option, you'll have a list of images they provide to choose from.
I don't know about avatars for twitter, as I haven't used it.
But as far as general tracking goes, if you register it'll have info on the computer or devices you registered from or later post from regardless of whether you use an internet browser or the app they offer.
