I was posting a reply on the Charles, Bible board and got a pop up message and audio that the Zeus virus has infected my computer and I should call Microsoft.
I just ran a scan from my anti-virus - and no issues found. Snopes is saying this is a bogus warning - no surprise there. I've never known Microsoft to alert people to viruses and tell you to call their number. I get warnings from my antivirus if I click on something malicious - and I don't have Microsoft antivirus.
So...that fake warning is coming from either this site or on the NASB's site.

Thanks, could just be someone having mischievous fun on the New American Standard Bible website. You know....place a "Zeus" virus alert on the site? Hee hee... Snicker....

Cinnamon,
It is likely you do have either a virus or more likely some adware installed on your computer. I highly recommend removing it. See link for one possibility.

I knew right off it was a hoax. It's the only time this has happened.
But...I am due to have the computer guy come over. So....will have him check too. Actually, I may be due for a new computer.
