MR BOPP.........
Is it possible to sync the shortcuts on my W10 laptop to my iPhone ?
I have to turn in the laptop I bought at Christmas because The keyboard will not work. 3 months old.....:(
But I still want the data from my laptop.
I can find the bookmarks on my phone but not the shortcuts
I updated everything about 3 days ago
Do I have it somewhere or is it too late
Thanks

iPhones (apple) and windows (Microsoft) are like oil and water.
Best route would be to use Kay's suggestion, and back up as much a possible on a large 16 or 32 gig thumb drive. You should do that periodically every so often anyway. If that does not work, if you get a new laptop, the geek squad or nerd herd can most likely recover all your files and load them of your new machine.
Most stuff should work, pictures, data files etc. But here's the deal, it's anyways better to work with apples to apples, if you catch my drift. A sweet MacBook Pro would be the best investment you could make.
Good luck, Jeff

I have considered an Apple for my next laptop.
If they are as good as my iPhone it will be amazing.

!
You live in San Francisco .....the home of Apple.....and u have your own website ..I would have thought you were the kind the of Guy that had his thermostat, curtains and doorbell Synced to his smartphone
You surprise me...but in a goood way.
But if it's any consolation......I use my phone about ten percent Of what others do
I consider it a convenience....not a lifestyle
THANKS

do you have a wireless mouse connected to it? if so you might be able to still 'send' your shortcuts and information to be written on a CD or on a 'stick' or an extra external hard drive. If you have to send it back, I sure would recommend copying everything totally, your programs, all to an external hard drive, and then deleting the majority of it all off the laptop as you can before sending it back. I have one and it downloaded the whole contents of the C drive to it. I still use it as my 'saving' place.
Am also wondering if one could plug in an external keyboard to the computer temporarily to use it for what you need before you send it back...
just thoughts...
