Dan, Bb-Berkeley Baby, Shadow, Jim W, Sheila, Bev/Van Isle, Mitra, Nasirah, Akira, etc., snodrop, Redhart, JayinSoCal, and just to be fair let's not forget our fearless leader bopp posting under the name ryan... Mudslingers all... and almost always just because they don't like differing opinions from their own... That's 14 Mudslingers on the Liberal side of the fence, with a one or two other Liberals that post, but post in a manner that is usually respectful... So, who's on the other side of the fence?... Logan, Blindhog 6th Sense, La Man, grzbear/AZ, Chatillion, Nevada, Jody/Concord,CA, Abra, Lily, oh and myself, RIG... So that's 10, 10 to 14, but really there's some definite "maybes" on the list in regards the "other side" of the fence... and really, are all on this list "Mudslingers"?... Logan and Blindhog, sure, kind of a given with those two... La Man, maybe, but his caliber is so much higher than their's so I'm reluctant to count him with... them... Jody can be a Mudslinger out of the gate at times... Abra yes, dear Gods yes... Lily, sorta... Grzbear, Chatillion, and Nevada, not so much, they certainly can but typically only when badgered to it... and little ol' me?... well sure, especially when provoked, I can sling just as much as they can and more probably... although I will admit that I enjoy being given the opportunity... ;) So it's more like 5 "Conservative" Mudslingers to 14 Liberal Mudslingers, funny how they continually complain about being the minority... and yet the Liberals play the Victim card so superbly and whine and cry to the point they get folk banned from the site... and then claim their opponents can dish it out but can't take it... yet the Conservatives and Independent types don't have daddy bopp backing them like the Liberals do, so we stand mostly on our own against what has become of late, a mob of frothing at the mouth zealots because they know the "authority" around these here parts wont really do anything to them... sure the occasional board closure, but that's about it... the rest of the time it's a borderline silent consent... hmmm... fascinating... the Truth I mean... isn't it?... |

I love the way you always seem to be the hapless victim in all of this. Some of the worst insults come out of your computer! i'm happy to have intelligent, adult debates and conversations on here, and have had many with people who share a different point of view from mine (JTRIV comes to mind)--and have enjoyed them. But ya'll leave little to debate when you just start demeaning, putting down, doing "team play" and making provocative statements rather than asking relevant questions, observations based upon experience and so forth. It's like your total demeaner is to "let's go piss off some liberals" rather than "let's talk about this topic, what do you think?" You are NOT a victim except maybe of yourself. |

Why it's a microcosm of our government, whaddya know, LOL, names and roles excepted, subject to interpretation and the game board du jour. Kinda sad isn't it? If only all players/debaters were actually voting on where our taxes were to be spent, if only the people's petitions were honored and not some token wishful thinking, if only our representatives weren't so hog tied in their own investments and pay backs that they might actually represent their constituents - if only. Meanwhile, waiting for Godot and the game board to change, keeping communication lines open is important! |

Usually and always been that way-- especially since all of my family for most part are mud slingers... learned right off, not my thang... I just try to be reasonable. And being Aries with libra rising, which is scales for justice and balance-- but I have gone off before when I decided I had to... its not pretty... peels paint off walls, that sort of thing. And the Scorpio thing in there too... scary. Like you Rig... :D |

| I am just so 'done'...we have so many things in the world let along the nation that are really important to talk about, let each other know about and debate intelligently ..perhaps with real facts/proof?...so am staying pretty much away from 'national' board not wanting to use up bandwidth pam as it just goes on and on and on and solves nothing. I, as 'you' know we are spiritual beings having a human experience, not labels, not stereotypes, not in 'boxes' and so I just watch 'the show'. Studying my genealogy and lots of ancient history as I am doing, I find humans just repeat and repeat and never seem to learn, or stop doing what 'we/they' do. I get on a soap box at times too when something really 'hits' me, but back off and do my 'ommmm', breathe and say, this too shall pass....(am shrugging here....right now, just quietly watching more snow come down)....hmmmmm,hugs, kay |

yeah! I hear ya. It is all so messed up. &More snow here too. Just when I wanted to get a truck load of rocks for my drive way.... so he cannot come out today..for the snow. And the cold. my gas and lights for Feb was outta sight! March is still cold/snow... and wind. making it feel more cold. take care(hugs) |
