As to why I appear to be not 'myself' anymore is because I'm thoroughly disgusted at being branded and labeled by people who don't take the time to investigate the messages I've put out. Those very people who apparently never have taken the time to find out why they think like they do--or are afraid to find out that they might be mistaken about something they've held onto for a goodly time. This goes for not only me, but several others on these boards who have suffered the same thing, become so tired of the garbage ladled out and left. We've lost some very well rounded, wise and knowledgeable people because of this very treatment and we are lesser for it.
I've changed my views of some things over time precisely by looking at and researching...going to places some folks would never dare go for fear of being thought of as too 'way out'. And some of my thinking and views have changed precisely from interchanges with folks on these boards. It is beyond me how some people are bound and determined to put down and/or demonize another person because their views are different--instead of entering into a respectful conversation.
There comes a point when enough is enough. One must address the problem.

I only comment on the exact subjects you post and your
words, not mine.
The holocaust happened, PERIOD.
Your support of Hitler has been posted by you, not us.
Your white power and nationalism are posted by you, not
us. Your neo-Nazi posts and sources are posted by you,
not us.

OK, I thought I was addressing her messages.
That was my intention. I am addressing specifically what
she posts.
I will try to be more diplomatic in the future.
My apologies if I broke the rules. I try very hard to
address messages not messengers, but sometimes it is a
fine like.

Well I've label you a hate filled Holocaust denier and it certainly isn't because I haven't taken the time to investigate the subject. Over the past year you have started numerous threads that have provided me with the opportunity to provide a little information to those who might be fooled by the neo-Nazis and Holocaust deniers. I've provided a wealth of information to arm those who don't want to be lied to by the hate filled denier types.
I'm aware you have squabbles with several people on this forum, but really you put those labels on yourself with the content of your posts.

Hallo Herr Bopp,
Holocaust denier is a descriptive and well established term. It describes someone who denies the Holocaust occurred in the face of overwhelming evidence and with zero support for the alternate belief. Neo-Nazi is a descriptive term simple meaning new Nazi for those who attempt to describe Hitler and the Nazis with a revisionist view of history and support their anti-semitic views.
I'll avoid such labels but from looking around the boards the last few months me pointing out that someone is a Holocaust denier and neo-Nazi is the least of your problems. And there is a very good possibility that many of the good folks we have known over the years on this forum have left due to this behavior.

..I suspect using the term "holocaust survivor" wasn't
the problem, but adding "hate filled" before it would be
in my book. When you take mutual respect out of the
dialogue major problems enter.

Yes, I can see that. The motivation for someone to post nothing but pro-Palestinian anti-Israel posts combined with Holocaust denier and neo-Nazi material would seem to be driven by hate and anti-semitism... but I can see that pointing out this motivation or calling the anti-semitic posts hate filled would be more addressing the person that the post.
Fair enough.

motivation. I have found that often the difference
between perceived good and perceived evil, upon a
closer look, can be very small. Fake news comes to
mind, is RT or Drudge fake, or is CNN and ABC fake?
After Trump's election I actually watched CNN admit
they had been deliberately fake. Now everyone is back
tracking.
A few years back I worked for several months with
severely at risk young people. The only way I could
reach them was through practicing absolute respect and
non judgement.
I could never figure out why that approach shouldn't
work for "adults" as well, especially since there is
so much childish behavior going on on these boards.

Respect has to start at the top or this board will crash.

of us to thrive? How can we grow if we don't push each
other? I learn from everyone, not just one or two
cliques.
The best teachers learn from their students. What's
