Is there a way to put a gif file in a post? I think I tried it once as an image

Hi Akira,

To put a GIF, JPG or PNG image in the body of a post you need to put HTML code around the link.

Your link:

http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--KoNDuR3F--
/w5wvlg7twhrfpziwwidv.gif

Then we put it in the HTML code to look like this:

<img src="http://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media/image/upload/s--KoNDuR3F--
/w5wvlg7twhrfpziwwidv.gif" width="500">

and it will display like this:



The Help with HTML link off earthboppin's main page gives examples of how to put images, links, etc. into the message body
