JTRIV and I've argued climate change for so many years now (10-14) that I miss his posts. BJ is always good for a laugh or 2 and love him so even though I certainly don't agree with either of them.
Couldn't you let them back in Ryan given the fact that all the other "banned" folks are back?
Yeah, I know we can all be a pain in the arse a times but at least JTRIV presented alternate views that didn't have any name calling or put downs.
I know you have no love lost for him but come on, I don't either really but fair is fair and if trapper, and all the others can post away, let's give these guys a try?

the bans are voluntary...they can come back whenever they think they can behave...

It's more like a boycott. I no longer have any use for these boards. It's
not about whether or not I can "behave". As I explained to you, my
behavior changed when the boards spiraled out of control. Trapper
spammed national (and liaho) daily for years with a third of the posts.
Others followed his example and piled on. You did virtually nothing to
rectify the problems, other than eliminate liaho. I didn't post much. But,
when I did, I was trolled. Most of my postings were in defense from
attacks and contradicting absolutly false information.
In the end you named me as part of the problem. I never would have
posted this had I not stopped in to read. I found your comment deeply
offensive, rubbing salt into the wound of your "banning" me in the first
place.

Hmmmm... it didn't sound voluntary to me when you said:

trapper, james, rig, et, nasirah, bj, dan, jtriv, horst"
If by voluntary you mean there was no IP ban and anyone you banned could simply ignore your ban and still post here.... well seems like I was one of the few to abide by your ruling.
I really don't mean to mess with you Ryan when I say a little consistency in your rulings and in your on behavior when posting on these forums would go a long way toward people behaving and treating each other with respect.

See... there is the confusing part. I'm one of the few who doesn't do the name calling bit or get personal.
Mr. Bopp, I think we need to sit down with Bev and figure out why you like to ban me when Mercury is in retrograde.
