i'm wondering how you can ban some and allow the shenagins of others to continue ... see the thread at the link ... what's the "fairness doctrine" to rationalize that?

and ... once again ... should my "impertinent question" anger you ... feel free to ban me

i could use a several decades break from posting here and having to continually fend off unsubstantiated assertions from JTRIV

Here's an example safe pic that won't upset horst grabben's
delicate sensibility - all pictures from grimmlord must hence
forth use this is as a shining example of what's acceptable in the female
form.

I could show you graduation pictures of my 2 cousins 9 years older - and they ALL looked just like that. THAT was considered very chic back then. Teased hair - and then sprayed with Aqua Net hair spray.

Times change. I often wonder how people 30 years from now will look on tattoos all over people's arms and backs. Or pants hanging down.

Think they'll laugh?

I'd bet on it.

Oh yes, Aqua Net. Stiff as a board. Teased to the moon. The winged rim glasses ( which of course are NOW back in style and considered fashion forward stylish) I thought they were ugly way back then, and I still think they are ugly now. Oh well.

I saw one of those young men come into a restaurant the other day. This time his pants were nearly down to his knees. How in heck he managed to keep them from fully falling down I have no idea! Maybe they are safety pinned like diapers because he did have a very, very long white undershirt type thing that was still tucked into his jeans which were at his knees.
All so stupid. People herd like sheep in fashion world. They start out wanting to be "different", and then eventually everyone looks like everyone.
The tattoo thing. Again, in mho, stupid. But, I shall keep my mouth shut, just waiting for the butterfly and giraffe dragging along at their heels, eventually. Humans are the strangest creatures on this planet. Get another tattoo folks. Be unique, make your statement to the world. And, if our police state continues you'll all be so incredibly easy to identify. The Jewish people had numbers tattooed into their arms. And, not for any voluntary choice. They didn't much care for it.
People rarely learn from their ancestors horrors.
Innocent people tattooed with marker identifications.
Step up folks, the tattoo parlor has an opening just for you. sigh...

My first pair of glasses were like that, 1968 - just another
reason to hate that year!

Lord, what an awful year.

Lost Grandpa to a stroke.
Oldest brother's newly-married-best-friend drowned.
Next brother's very good friend died of chicken-pox-infected brain.
RFK killed.
MLKJr died.

...and I got those damned glasses...

geez

I was only 11.

Oh, that reminds me of something someone said to me today...said I
knew a man who had a ship tattooed on his chest in his youth. As he got
older it sank until it could not be seen anymore.

Where ya suppose it went? (the latter was my thought)

Right! God is good! I doubt we meant to do most of what is has passed
and hopefully not too much more test tubes to come. At least they were
hopefully able to wash it out eventually, yet not great for the environment
or lungs either.

and, for our own behavior. If things get your goat, walk away from them. Many of us, have done just that, many times. We have a choice. If anyone is overly attached to "being right", they're in for a fruitless journey here and in life.

lighten up a bit ... read the rules mr bopp set up, and respect them and him, yourself and other posters. Is that too much to ask?

I read some of the thread ... yawn. Your risking getting banned for a thread? Seriously, now. Mr bopp is taking a break from baby sitting, presently. We have to figure out how to be civil adults on our own ... capiche?

fyi, naked women are still not against the guidelines, as far as I know. A naked body is not porn. GL has posted those for years. Don't click on his posts, if pics of naked women offends you.

I'm out of this thread. Good luck to you.

Still not necessary and it's I doubt thoughts see it as pure according to
the comments I wish I never saw those or the grime post. I would
recommend NOT for others not to check out that thread. I opened it and
never expected to see that. I need my brain washed with pure water...it's
almost gone, someday forever...something for to toss into the trash bin
of nasty thoughts, through them out and hopefully rise above it all and
the world may become a better place.

Fortuna to you oh susanna.

I don't want to see you, or anyone else band from here.

If you don't like a post, just do like something you don't like on radio or
TV, just change the channel or turn it off. I've seen Akira's post now a few
times, got a few sentences in, and closed it. No problem.

We're all walking on thin ice here on earthboppin, in a heating pool. It just
started to seem like it might be cooling down. Mr. Bopp said he will lurk,
but not moderate. It's not my job either. But he may be watching, to
decide the fate of earthboppin's future.

95% of the good people here, had nothing to do with this. And we need to
think of them, before ourselves.

Jeff
