inspired from a suggestion by horst, I have hacked the code so that once a thread is started the subject will always stay the same...at least that's how it is supposed to work...we'll see...I think it will keep thread more on topic and easier to follow...

don't know if I like this idea... sometimes subject line
changes actually helps me identify portions of the
conversation I'm interested in following and or
avoiding... sort of... sometimes...
