This thing has only about 130 total mb's. Faster than greased lighning. I'm running it off my RAM in a very old laptop. 2 whole gigs! We are havin fun this afternoon playing around with about a dozen Linux OS's!
Linux is a free operating system, and Puppy Linux is a special build of Linux meant to make computing easy and fast.

Here's a link to the forum which has links to many versions of Puppy.
It's my favorite because it's free and works on old hardware.

Puppy will run on almost anything as long as you have enough RAM and even there, it will work on 256Mb.
But remember, Linux will not run Windows programs. There are Linux programs for just about anything you want, also free.
Best of all, no virus worries.

Puppy usually comes with Seamonkey for the browser.
