Over the past few weeks, we've been in the process of doing final preparations for upgrading our network and expanding our Los Angeles data center. We're writing you to let you know about network maintenance that will be occurring the next two nights to complete that work.
Our goal is to complete shifting our network routing onto new hardware that's part of a significant investment we have made to ensure we're offering our customers the best network possible. We'll also be making the final steps to connect our existing space with our new one, part of a long term project to deliver advanced services both to our new space as well as our existing datacenter.
Maintenance windows will run from 6pm PST until 3am PST, a significant part of which will be performing final checks on equipment and monitoring network performance after changes are complete. While we've been working to ensure this maintenance is trouble-free, significant segments of our network are being restructured. We expect downtime for some customers which we will try to minimize, and have worked to isolate this only to systems that need physical upgrades to gain access to our new network.
The changes we're making will give us a more resilient network as a whole, allow us to offer new platforms, as well as give us ways to expand the capabilities of our existing services. We're exicted about the possibilities this opens up for InMotion and for our customers.

I'm not sure if it's on my side, but I've been getting a "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message several times when opening a new forum for the first time of the day, or if I have been away for a while, since you did your upgrade. I can refresh and it will come up with the latest thread, date, and current. So that's good.
This seems to be happening with only this site. I can deal with it, but just curious if you had any other observation.

first I've heard of something like that...I had nothing to do with the upgrade, it was the hoster folks working on the server...nothing should have changed but I will forward your note to them and see what they have to say...thanks...

Hello Ryan,
Thank you for contacting us with this issue. I used internet explorer to pull up some pages in your forum and didn't experience any issues. I would recommend getting the version of internet explorer that your user is reporting the error from and if it is a rather old version of IE letting them know of the available updates to IE. Also if they could provide a screen shot of the error it would help out with troubleshooting this issue.

It must be on my side. I hit "post followup" twice and got the same message. The third time was the charm, and I am here.
I'm not sure where to find what version of IE I have. I looked in IE properties, but did not see it.

there should be a link for about ie or something like that in the ie help menu...that should tell you the version...does sound like something on your box though since no one else is having a problem...

ryan, I think you should start a "bad israel" section, so that INTERNATIONAL could actually cover international stuff. I checked it out today and it was EXCLUSIVELY FILLED with anti Israeli stuff. I don't read that and it's a shame that there is NO place for international coverage as chatillion uses it as her own personal soapbox. I'm sad about that. Gee, you'd think SOMETHING was happening in the world, other than Israel misbehaving. Just a thought... abra
