He is regularly crosses lines that most folks now ignore him. Is he playing? Is he sick? Does he have a sick agenda? Who cares. There is a sweet, easy solution: don't click on the site. Period. It's soaked and soured by the traps. |

They represent a part of society that should not be swept under the carpet. I find both of them repulsive in their trashing of Obama and his wife. But that is a real part of our society. FREE SPEECH! It is what made our country great. |

I'm against banning on this basis...but all for just ignoring people who are trolling. Bans should be reserved for those who are genuinely threatening or simply refuse to adhere to board rules (and they are pretty loose in comparison to other boards). I think if people use a little restraint (myself included), it's better to let some twitch in a corner and not feed them. In most of these cases, the posters actually hang themselves with their own mouths, destroying their own credibility. In effect, they end up being self contained and tend to quaranteen themselves from other posters when others don't want to deal with them anymore (or break off into self-contained trolling pairs lol). |

in that I shouldn't have done the KKK thingy and yes it was totally overreaction to trapper's post as I've done before several times. Geez, sometimes I wonder if I was a victim of the KKK in my last life or what that makes me so horridly overreactive to the posts that resemble what I so deeply feel in my heart and soul in terms of dealing with racism of any sort. So yes, you are right on about why I shouldn't have included any KKK stuff in my posts ever! It was not only unnecessary, it was counter productive. God always has a way of humbling me even though it took a whole week of thinking it through to realize it. I've banned myself from that board forever because I can't seem to behave there. I've been there myself. I love you, Sheila; and please don't stop posting there because you ARE missed. Hey, I've eaten a lot of humble pie myself. I could tell you some really stupid stuff I've said to many a person. I'll never forget the day my own boss lost her kitten. I'm a dog person, and not a cat person. Here, her little kitty DIED and you know what I said? "Well, you could always get another." I mean, WHO DOES THAT? That was over 20 years ago and I still remember it like it happened yesterday. Can you imagine the pain I caused her by saying that? Another time, I recognized one of her new patients as someone I used to work with in another place. I won't even TELL you what I said to HER. OMG. How embarrassing. I will say one thing. It's good I wasn't fired. geeeez Honey, don't be so hard on yourself. Don't forget Trap does like to push buttons to see how people will react. I know he'd forgive you in a heartbeat. It took me YEARS to figure that poster likes to play with people's heads. Because of the health board he's on, I know he's a good guy; but on the liaho board, it seems to me like it's his opportunity to see how other people's brains work. In my opinion, it's like playing chess to him. Or - something like that. But that's just me. I don't really know the guy. You're a flesh and blood person, don't be so hard on yourself. I love you! awe, thanks Karin, what seems like the right thing to say at the moment seems to be so wrong when looked back on in retrospect. Yes, trapper is invaluable on the health board but oh my, he does post some strange stuff on LIAHO but that doesn't give me license to slam him - it's his stuff not mine! I was watching a Star Trek movie the other day and remembered our shared appreciation of Commander Riker and had to laugh that we have a 2 person fan club just for him!lol. Onward and upward - lots of gardening to do here, finally some decent - warm weather!! Maybe we'll get some ripe tomatoes afterall this year. For the past 2 years - nothing till late August! On a different note, when I was watching the video, my scroll bar went crazy, up and down really fast so had to get off the internet, clear the cache, etc!
