I've already read. It just happened, suddenly, and it's true of OTHER sites, too.

Not just this one...

???

It happened so suddenly that I thought maybe I hit a key accidentally that changed it.

This is driving me batty. I want to know what I've already read...any help would be appreciated, from anybody. The font color is no longer changing on any of the sites I go to, to show that I've already read something.

aarrgghh

I knew it was something I clicked "on" - but I finally found it; now I know how to click it on AND off - so this is a good thang.

hubby got me new hp for xmas and there's a feature called inprivate browsing on internet explorer's browser - I accidentally turned on a feature which left no reminders and kept it "on" all the time.

IE's a pain in the ass, but it is what I am used to, and at least now I know how to use the above feature, to where I can turn it on and off, so, it's a good thing.

You should try Google Chrome. It's much better than
Internet Explorer. It has web browser updates available
every 6 weeks with anti-malware and anti-spyware
technology built in.

Hey, wasn't it you who advised me to do this before?

I remember having problems with my old laptop and someone suggested it then. I DID download it on THAT computer and found it helpful.

Thanks again - since this one is brand-spanking new (christmas gift) I'm afraid to download too much stuff at this time.

I figured out some new cool things on this one, (well, probably not "new" - just discovered them while trying to find a cure to my recent problem). I even changed background color which makes it much easier to see on some other boards.

It probably was me. Downloading Google Chrome to surf
the web is probably one of the best things you could do
with a new computer. Your web browsing will be safer.

Chrome will not load websites that could harm your
computer. It displays a warning instead that the
website could contain malware or spyware.
