Subject: OK,I am so mad at my computer, lol.Pls help

I guess I signed up for games from MSN for ten bucks a month for I thought two months. Well god I think they have been taking the money out for months and I only got one game...forgot.
ANyway so I downloaded a game I did not even want, sorta forced to and then now MSN.gams with bing has taken over my start on E making all my other stuff set up unevalable.
I went to control pannel and thought I got rid of it by going to defalt and when that did not work,blank...no help
How to I get back to the regular E msn my computer came with?
What other area can I get into to chg this also regclean Pro keeps coming on although I denie it all the time but it just comes on when I boot up and cannot seem to find it on control pannel.
Much thanks ahead of time,
Dona

dona, did you go to 'start' and then to 'run' and put
in msconfig?

if you go to the start menu you might see the 'pro' in
there (not sure what that is myself) but you can
unclick that if you don't want it in your start up
programs.

I am also not sure what E msn is, but many times when
one signs up for things, they will have options and
usually already check marked, if you don't pay
attention and uncheck them...such as installing
bing...I have had to uninstall that myself from the
control panel, under the add/remove programs.

hope this helps...

some options:

*Open "Task Manager" (ctrl-alt-del) and click on 'processes' tab. See which process gets started when you open the 'games' software. Then use control panel to remove that software. (same for 'reg cleaner' and then do a reinstall on it later).

*Go to control panel and (add)/remove any software that you dont want. Use search eng. and proc. name to ID the function of each program

*Use installation CD/DVD and reinstall the operating system only (after backing up all your data)

* do a sys backup/ recovery operation from a date before you installed the games software

* reboot in safe mode and select line by line install and watch what is loading (and try and ID which items you dont want to load).

*quickest and easiest is to backup data and reinstall operating system (at risk of data loss if no backup is done).

* go to help page for your operating system and ask your question or scan to see if it has been asked and answered already (or use search eng. to do the same)

have fun

Dona, it may not mean anything to you coming from me, but my heart goes out to you upon hearing your story...I too find myself in tight space, always in debt. I just keep hoping. Scratch by, some charitable folks out there, though I not ask, some know and have plenty want me to take. Sometimes times sparser than others. I feel okay I be Lazarus for this time and take crumbs, later be never too cold or too hot. Also sometimes I give when have little and comes back more in ways I did not expect.

regrets for response, refrain in future. Forgiveness to the trolls and trolled, but not for hackers.
