had to uninstall first, then install the update.

On a youtube page.. click on *Help* (at bottom of page), then *General Help Center*, under *Watching* click on *Watching Videos*, then click on *youtube videos won't play*. Follow the steps that lead you to download Adobe's Official Uninstaller, do the uninstall (of the extant adobe program), then go back to the youtube page which should ask you to download update (10.2) in a little bar @ the top of the vid screen.

The deal is apparently that you have to uninstall the old programs to successfully install the update i think.. lol

After doing the Explorer browser and successfully getting the vid of youtube I opened my Firefox browser which required a plug-in after also asking for install of update. I didn't go through the uninstall routine on Firefox because it should be about the same program as the only abobe i now have on both Explorer and now Firefox. After installing on Firefox a little box comes up on youtube 'plugins required'.. did that tip to the top and got youtube vid working on Firefox also.

Man, I'm a fracking tech genius! lolol next week i learn oh sussanah on piano!

Hi Dex. I have using "noscript" for about 3 years now. The only problem I have with is some links open slow, or only part of the way until I click on options and tell it to allow the site temporarily.

At present time I'm using Firefox 3.6.15. I tried using Firefox 4.0beta 12 but learned I can't open any PDF files with it. Checked with Google and learned I'm not the only one who has that problem. Guess I'll just have to wait until they come with the finished version. Take Care...Don

Thx Don. I intuitively stayed wway from the beta version.. was advised that these are trial upgrades..

Youtube did not work after going closing and opening window again. It does work if embedding, apparently
