Hey, ny, I didn't click on the link till today, interestingly (and coincidentally) immediately following a conversation re "beatniks" with a friend. Huh!

Thanks! Amazing to realize how all films (home movies) back then were video only; no audio. Same humans; completely different universe.

Just now I'm living with roommates (20-somethings, yikes!) for the first time in 30+ years, and I must say those photos make me feel sentimental.

Couches facing each other?! As if people are expected to chat with each other?!?! How ... retro!
