I'm not able to delete Norton they want $60 to delete it from my comp. I have a top quality McAfee program I'm not able to install until I delete Norton. Is there a special trick to this?

google how to download nod32 AV by eset. They have links to fully remove all other types of AV software (1st).
my NAV would try to go online even tho I turned off auto update and Norton community. Either it is spyware or some malware is able to hijack it.
Apparently "nod32" AV is claimed to be much better at AV than lots of others.
No I don't their stock either.

I 2nd the suggestion on NOD32. We used it at my last job.
They also have a free online scanner. I have used that as well.
I've seen good reviews especially amongst the gamer and P2P community, which is necessarily high risk.

Tell Norton that if they do not provide instructions for a complete and 100% clean uninstall for free, that you will report them to the Federal Trade Commission for extortion, violation of privacy, unauthorized access to a computer system, and breach of contract.
Then, after you get Norton off your computer, report them anyway.
