don't know what happened by text already viewed is yellow on yellow (or so I think as am colour blind)
How do I go about changing the colour to something I can see

nothing different on the board end of things...you could try to change your browser prefs...usually there is a setting to override page settings and use the ones you choose for links, visited links etc...in firefox it's under the preferences/content choice...

I went to tools/download manager/preferences. I'm lost can't find it.
