as i recall the last time the national board had to be shut down it started with a shit media report claiming the civilian death toll in gaza had been cut in half. someone here tried to troll people with that fake news and when it turned out to be false that same person got really damned ugly similarly this time there was a report that trump suggested a firing squad for cheney and the same person here tried to troll people and when that also turned out to be fake news that person again got really damned ugly bopp already came up with a solution to this problem. there are rules of stay on topic and don’t make things personal. to put it in one word civility. nevada calls it adult behavior. whatever anyone calls it the root cause is people here literally support an end to civility which is why these problems keep happening we all know bopp and know he doesn’t want to babysit people and enforce these simple rules of stay on topic and don’t make things personal. if people here don’t believe in such basic rules these problems will continue to occur. a damn shame people would rather troll and attack than discuss actual topics and use politics to justify that behavior |

That Bopp is just being himself, and his intentions, as per his perspective, are good. That'd be a start. Otherwise, I have a hard time imagining you're going to change people's mind hereabouts. Folks are kinda set in their ways.. so beating that one over and over again ain't gonna get you much.. as I imagine you've noticed. There's always creating an alternative that's more to your liking and inviting everyone to come on over and chat with your there. Then you can play the admin. I doubt you'd like it all that much after that new car smell wears off.. but hey you could try. |

depends on your definition of adults lol we are all definitely old enough to be considered adults, but some people seem to be not very mature which makes me wonder how they lived to old age without learning a painful lesson in how to interact with others. admittedly i was shocked and a bit saddened when the overwhelming answer came back that most here don’t believe in civility. the reason seemed to be politics, but hate begets hate, insults beget insults and it is baffling how anyone could feel that is a good way forward. can you imagine a town council meeting or a business meeting or a locker room where someone behaved like ao? not only is it counterproductive his ass would quickly be shown the door i do worry about how some people will handle the results wednesday if things don’t go their way |
