already exists in the rules bopp’s laid out. certain people spend their time flaming, trolling, stalking and in personal attacks. others goal seems to be off topic posts when they don’t like the topic. if people didn’t do these things boards wouldn’t have to be shut down a good, general mission statement for the boards as elucidated by etc., one of our posters... "...it's possible to share personal points of view without degrading others. I think it's more effective to do so. It moves the discussion along instead of putting on the brakes and getting nowhere in the muddy waters. And if a person has a strong point, it should be able to stand on its own without an attack. Words that hold weight." Rules and Guidelines The basic rules for posting are quite simple. Stay on topic and don't make it personal. No flaming, trolling, stalking or personal attacks. I find that true-- and wonder why- is he more favorable to the left when he is more favorable to the independent. The left is no more recognizable by me personally. I'm not left or right-- In the middle- most times. But I feel its all just political jibber jabber. I feel the more one focuses on being correct, truth teller, the more one attracts the negative connotations of that. In other words, to live peacefully in this life or on this site is a narrow road to walk. The more people here talk/communicate about who they hate: such as Trump, the more they keep focusing on what they don't want is unfortunately what they are going to get- the same is true for focusing the hate on Biden, or any other political persons, the more they will get of what they don't want. Its true the politicians really do not care about this country at all- its something else- power, money, prestige, whatever and it plays right into destroying this country and dividing people. |

Sorry, pamela, but far as I'm concerned, that whole *principle of attraction* dynamic is profoundly, grossly oversimplified and mischaracterized....... As I understand things, we *attract* literally everything we require to fulfill our soulgrowth designs created in higher realms before birth with the help of Spirit, whether those qualifies, situations and people *appear* to be *the kind of energy we consciously want to attract* or not... As we clear the issues that gave rise to each soulgrowth situation then, yes, our frequency/resonance rises...but not simply by our deciding to *only focus on the positive*... Quite often deep excavation into shadow work is the only way that happens, and I've seen many people spend most of their lives *focusing on positivity* and using that surface focus to avoid the very issues that'd generate forward movement... This country has some profoundly dark *shadows* in its history...and whether we'll process and clear them for all time, or do a deep dive backward in history, is the question here... Claiming freedom, sovereignty and our civil rights, personally as well as en masse, is entirely necessary to fulfilling the destiny of this country, as I see things...and while politics has certainly revealed some very vivid and garish true colors, I don't see this as political *at all,* but rather an issue of our choosing *humane civilization,* or not... |

In Heinlein’s telling there’s truth in myth. And authors such as Baum and Verne, Burroughs, and Orwell have had more influence then the mere telling of fantasy.. I think Fractured Fairytales went further in forming my perspective than my mom ever wished when she would tell my sis and I to watch the tv. So yeah, where is the boundary between truth and illusion? It’s just the nefarious nature of the current thrust that’s turn this into a circus with nightmares full of really scary clowns rather than the glory of endless discovery that life should be. The frantic assumption they have to win at all cost.. the idea, the very idea, that their happiness is dependent upon other’s unhappiness, is mind boggling. I'm familiar with Elwood Babbitt, he offers a lot of beautiful wisdom...but I hardly think that's what ao was reacting to...... I'd be willing to bet my rent that ao's anger had more to do with your statement that "Yes it is insane in what's going on saying it's OK to change one's sex"...given that he attached an article about the Hawaiian cultural understanding of Mahu, which recognizes with equality and respect those who feel inclined toward expressing the opposite gender of what they were born as... Some people, Chuckles, find the need to change their actual gender *as physically/completely as possible.* You call that insane, and cite the well-known possibility that past-life issues, difficulties shifting into one or the other gender when the opposite one has been prevalent, or dominative, or whatever, can be at least part of the issue...and that that can be worked with so that the person can more comfortably live in the skin and gender they were born to. You say this as if that explanation should be the be-all and end-all for anyone feeling inclined toward changing themselves so totally gender-wise. That really going through with such a thing, as "insane," should be given up in favor of engaging past-life therapy, or whatever other angles of approach might be seen as a viable substitute for doing so. And yes it did have to do with what was said in one of Elwood Babbitt's books about being reincarnated too fast, and why I felt some years ago that different past life therapists should get together and study this to see if what elwood was saying in his book about people who were reincarnated too quickly carried over that sex from their former life to their present life. Fascism is an inherently violent tenet, as it enforces the outlawing of everything but a dictator's imposed values.
