Nevada lowers his expectations of being able to successfully pull off convincing anyone but the GOPers that he has anything to say beyond his characteristic, yet futile attempts to verbally spin and deflect the juice out of anything coming from anywhere/anyone else...and keeps his posts where the owner of this site asks him to...you know, like a guest in someone else's place might do, which is no different than this... Akira lowers her expectations of becoming the Uncontested Truth Queen of EB, of indicting everyone who doesn't see the Middle East situation (or anything else for that matter) as all Joe Biden's fault, and expecting all of us to acknowledge and defer to her obvious intellectual superiority... And the best of all? Dare I voice it? Both of them finally manage to master their shocked incredulity, and let go of their expectations of being able to (lol!) change Mr. Bopp and how he runs his site... I know, too much to hope for probably... But akira suggested lowering their expectations, to Nevada, so hey, one can dream eh? ;) |

Well, it wasn't a post "to Bopp," it was a post intended to help educate others about this thing I'm navigating; Mr. Bopp just helped me by posting the accompanying graphic. To answer your question: What I'm doing, there, that you use the words you do, to describe, is consciously choosing to mirror back the same exact immature, mean, fear-based violent words and energies that those of GOPer inclination foist upon everyone here, whenever they support the GOP Fascist idealogies they hope to make law. It's not regression, bh. It's consciously chosen wordings meant toward helping those of you just might have the capacity to realize it, that the attempt to force your GOP Fascist values and beliefs onto the whole country, by electing DJT and his minions, is inherently violent, inhumane, terror-fueled, exactly opposite the spirit this country was founded upon and...so, so far beyond "mean" that such a childish word completely fails. All the ways the GOP endeavors to whitewash, rationalize, justify and normalize their exclusivist, racist ways of being and living are, of their very nature, "immature" in their flagrant inhumanity... When you read strong words from me that you perceive as you describe, I'm simply holding a palm mirror to your own *comfort with violence,* hoping one day you might catch a glimpse, and recognize it within yourself... And, yes -- I was raised by people who, today, would be obliviously touting this same violence were they still alive...may they rest in peace... It's taken most of my life to recover from how their terror conditioning damaged me, and the rest of what life I have will be devoted to ensuring that I can help as many people as possible see through the empty promises the GOP Fascists tout... But hey, I do appreciate your recognizing this *as* quite a separate way of being and expressing myself, apart from my usual efforts in other areas... You illustrated the differentiation between those stances beautifully, thank you... ;) |

...if you can follow this... I characterized my own style of response to GOP posts as "mirroring back the same immature, mean, fear-based violent energies" they carry because, bottom line, as I understand things, the only *purely mature, wholly spiritually-realized and peaceful response* to the GOP Fascist nonsense is wise smiling silence. Stillness that holds within it perfect trust in the Divine, in the Wholeness of humanity, to real-ize Itself here regardless of everything masquerading and manipulating appearances otherwise. For *me,* anyway. I totally get how many can see anything like silence as "standing down the fight," see withdrawing one's external voice as removing oneself from tangible, substantive effort...but I understand that it's only when I manage to "let my eye be single," shining in that silence, that the very best I have to offer the cause of humanity's freedom, whatever that is, will have room to emerge... ;) But until then... ;) ...my human/egoic voice will continue to *passionately* respond to the GOP effort to normalize and legislate Fascism with every word I can muster, meet it eyeball to eyeball no matter where it hides...no matter what choice of words might be used by myself or anyone to describe my doing so...until it's no longer necessary... |
