SEVERAL QUESTIONS FOR MR. BOPP POSTED BY EQF ON DECEMBER 21, 2023 Hello to all. Hi Mr. Bopp, Much of the subject matter of this post was discussed on the Rock and Roll forum Web page back in July of 2023. http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/rollem/messages/22915.html I am going over this again because I expect that the subject matter will get fairly serious fairly soon. I want to again make certain that you know the details and are in full agreement on this. In my July posting I asked if it was okay to discuss Earthquake Forecasting computer software development with other computer programmers in one of these forum Web pages. You stated that you were good with that and recommended the SCIENCE forum Web page for the posts. I was unfortunately never able to find enough free time to get that computer programming effort started. The problem has been the following: The code in my really, really important Perl language Earthquake Forecasting computer program is easy enough to translate if that is done one line at a time. However, the program makes dramatic jumps from one subroutine to another etc. Computer programmers would find it difficult to understand the structure of the program just as former poster and computer programmer Roger did. That would mean that I would have to spend a lot of time supervising their translation efforts. I just didn’t have enough free time back in July to do that. That programming effort might get moving along fairly soon. But, there is now more to discuss. “Flame War” activity on most of the Boppin Web pages appears to have largely died down. This is partly because Roger has retired and he no longer posts note here. I recently began telling other earthquake researchers to start checking the forum for information regarding earthquake forecasting and research etc. I also recommended that they start posting their own notes here. I haven’t seen any of them posting any notes and can’t tell if any of them have started reading these notes. I just a few minutes ago saw that Shan has returned to the Rock and Roll Web page. What I would now like to do is start contacting government officials around the world including the U.S. government and various agencies such as the USGS, NOAA, FEMA, NASA etc., and also news service personnel including U.S. West Coast reporters, and recommend that THEY all start reading these posts. Roger was retired from the USGS and he would undoubtedly be upset by these proposed new posts. This was all very strange. He helped me with a lot of earthquake forecasting computer program development over the years but repeatedly swore up and down that: “EARTHQUAKES CAN’T BE PREDICTED” “EARTHQUAKES CAN’T BE PREDICTED” “EARTHQUAKES CAN’T BE PREDICTED” It irritates me to no end when I see U.S. government scientists, other scientists around the world, and news service personnel when they keep constantly spreading that smelly type of earthquake denial stuff that you find on Main Street after the circus parade has rolled through town! Years ago I got so angry that I hired a group of attorneys and asked them if government scientists could be dragged into court and sued for constantly spreading that trash. Sadly, the answer that I got was that it is tricky and fairly difficult to sue government scientists regardless of what they say. They and many politicians seem to have a certain amount of legal immunity. Too bad! The reason for trying to get news service personnel to read these posts is so that they will actually have a chance to hear the truth about earthquake forecasting rather than that stuff that they are constantly being fed by government scientists. Then they can try asking government scientists and politicians to start being honest with them. U.S. government officials likely won’t cause any problems for the Boppin forum. But, the U.S. is not the only government on our planet. If they have not already done so, Mainland China (PRC) officials will probably ban their citizens from accessing this forum when PRC officials learn that it exists. I know from discussions with research colleagues in the PRC that they have done that type of thing in the past. I was even told that private citizens living in the PRC are not allowed to discuss earthquake forecasts in public. Many people living in the PRC who understand how the Internet works probably know how to get around government blockages like that. However, I myself don’t intend to tell anyone, anywhere that they should attempt to do that or how it might be done. Information regarding the location of this forum will likely be quietly circulated by earthquake researchers in the PRC through unofficial channels. It is my expectation that the PRC government will likely not try to cause any problems for this forum. Other than banning it, they will likely just ignore it. But, you need to be aware that the existence of the forum will probably be brought to their attention. My guess would be that you would not be concerned about that. I just wanted to make certain again that you are good with this. The notes that I will be posting to the SCIENCE Web page forum will not contain too much text. They will refer readers to my personal Earthquake Forecasting Web site for details. There will be a number of small and very LARGE PNG type charts displayed with my posts as I have said in the past. However, the charts themselves will be stored on my own Web site. The posts here will just contain a single line of HTML code for each chart. That line of HTML code will cause the Web page viewer’s PC to read the chart from MY Web site. If those charts were actually stored on your server, the OVERFLOW light might go on before too long. At the bottom of this present post there are a few examples the types of chart that I am talking about. The first few posts in the SCIENCE forum will probably discuss the deadly PRC earthquake that just occurred and the Iceland volcano that just erupted. After posting the Iceland volcano information I am planning to contact Iceland government officials to let them know about the post. These are personal opinions. Regards to all, EQF PROOF THAT EARTHQUAKES CAN BE PREDICTED The chart below is for the time around when an 8.3 kuril Islands earthquake occurred. 2006/11/15 11:14:13 46.59N 153.27E 10 8.3 "Kuril Islands"
This is really all the proof that anyone needs to see that shows that EARTHQUAKES CAN BE PREDICTED! There were line peaks on the chart around 153 E longitude from mid August of 2006 until mid November in 2006. These line peaks are not for INDIVIDUAL EM Signals. Instead, they can represent hundreds of EM Signals detected during a 90 day time window and averaged together. Each line is offset from the one above and below by 10 days. They disappeared from the 153 E longitude area right after that 2006 Kuril Islands earthquake occurred. That is likely because the signals were being generated in the fault zone because of the accumulated strain. When the earthquake occurred, the strain was released and no more signals for that location were generated. MY EARTHQUAKE FORECASTING COMPUTER PROGRAM The chart below for a number of Japan earthquakes show how incredibly powerful my Earthquake Forecasting computer program can be.
2021/02/13 14:07:50 37.75N 141.75E 50 7.1 "72 km ENE of Namie, Japan" 2011/03/11 05:46:24 38.30N 142.37E 29 9.1 "near the east coast of Honshu, Japan" 2011/03/09 02:45:20 38.44N 142.84E 32 7.3 "near the east coast of Honshu, Japan" Everyone, including all the earthquake researchers I know about in Japan believe that the fairly powerful 7.1 magnitude February 13, 2021 Japan earthquake was an aftershock associated with the extremely powerful and destructive 9.1 magnitude March 11, 2011 Japan earthquake. However, as the line peaks on my chart show, the one in 2021 might be more accurately thought of as an aftershock associated with the less powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake that occurred on March 9, 2011. What is so astonishing is the fact that those line peak shapes were so similar to one another in spite of the fact that the two earthquakes occurred 10 years apart in time. I have numerous other examples of those similarities between earthquakes that were separated from one another by lengthy periods of time. Anyway, this is the type of information I will be posting here where government scientists and reporters can see it and where people can comment on the subject matter. I can’t run a forum like this on my own Web site. I simply don’t have the time. Just generating all of the PNG files requires a considerable amount of time and effort. P.S. Just in case, you might want to start watching for people wearing dark glasses who are flying black helicopters around your residence (humor intended – I hope). EQF |

Posted by EQF on December 24, 2023 Hi Mr. Bopp and all, First, I am wondering how my original post resulted in so many response posts? I was somewhat amazed when I checked back and saw them all. Second, that note was posted here instead of the Rock and Roll forum because I was attempting to check with you regarding my present plans to start contacting governments around the world plus scientific groups, and recommend to them that they watch the Rock and Roll forum or the Science news forum for information regarding earthquake forecasting. It has been my experience over the decades that governments and most scientific groups don't want to hear that people are proposing that "Earthquakes Can Be Predicted." They CAN and at times DO get very upset and threatening when people start saying that. So, basically, they will likely mostly ignore your forum. But, they aren't going to be too happy that people are posting notes on the forum stating that Many Of Our Powerful Earthquakes CAN Be Predicted. Additionally, quite often, earthquakes are likely easier to predict than the weather. I just wanted to make sure that you realized that this could happen. Your expected response would likely be that people have been posting forecasting notes on this forum for decades and no governments have gotten upset. The situation is different this time. World governments frequently respond very strongly when I send them scientific advice. That is also true for news services. They won't totally IGNORE my earthquake forecasting information. They might not respond to it at first. But eventually, they will. And to some extent, your forum will be in the middle of everything. You will likely find the situation to be amusing if you actually hear from anyone regarding all of this. These are personal opinions. Regards, EQF |
