I'm gluten intolerant so this doesn't affect me directly much, but might affect a lot of people. Might want to stock up on flour if you're fond of bread.
For that matter....beer as well, among other things.
And Livestock feed.
-----------------------------------
And like Hierophant in their response to Chatillon's post, I'm finding cat food sparser and sparser on the shelves. just made a couple of big orders of the kinds my cats will eat, at least...what can still be found.
Chewy, Amazon, and Walmart are out of stock of most of the cheap stuff my cats like (9 lives Pate is nowhere to be found, though the chunk stuff that they collectively dislike is still available).
Far fewer options for Fancy Feast and Purina One.
Merricks limited ingredient can only be found in the big cans, has been unavailable in small cans for about a year now.
So....interesting times.

The United States import quite a bit of fertilizer from Russia and China. Supposedly both countries are holding off on exports until this summer. Our farms need that fertilizer, and without it, it's only going to add to higher food prices. Going shopping Wednesday to purchase big bags of rice, beans, flour, and pasta. Already have an abundance of powder milk that will last many years. Have all the survival stuff from Y2K, might need that as we get closer to the night of the red sky.
