this is cool, I can't afford it but wish I could as I do love growing my own produce!...

Recently named the “Worlds Most Advanced Container Garden”, the Garden Tower 2 features food grade USA-made HDPE (non-toxic, BPA & PVC free plastic) components, FDA-approved dye and UV-protection antioxidant package for health, durability and recyclability.

at the link....

I would use it if I had one for miniature vegetable seeds and some
regular size herbs but it might get overgrown otherwise. Looks
interesting though, thanks sharing...I could put one of those on
my screened in lanai easily...I would do it just because I enjoy
veggies. I like that it is bpa and pvc free too.

URL: Aero Garden

I'm using an Aero Garden I got from my snowbirds. Years ago when they went south I use to tend it in their house and got good veggies all winter long.

I noticed the past few years it was not out and when I inquired they gave it to me.

Bottom line is I got the first batch of greens out and transplanted into regular potting soil and have another set of greens growing now to transplant.

I did a test with same seeds in seedling soil and Aero Garden and the Aero Garden seeds came up a good week before the ones in soil.

They are a little pricey also but are table top and even if you don't transplant you can grow veggies in a compact hydroponic system.

sounds alot like the JuicePlus Tower Garden- i used to
vacation home care for a couple who were reps for
Juice Plus...they were one of the first to try this
tower. Here in the PNW, it works o.k. in the summer
time - although one really has to keep an eye on the
water levels - I had to replenish every other day or
so. But it doesn't work squat in any other time of
year here in the PNW...needs sun plus water. But I
guess one could set up in their garage or basement -
sort of like them marijuana growing facilities here.
Overall, the high price of the unit does not equal
what one gets in return.

neither did growing in my greenhouse or on the deck and I love growing my own, but the costs never did come close to what I could have purchased the products with...lol....and yes, I did get a little grow pot yesterday to grow some basil....can't help myself. the snowstorm took it town year before darn it. I guess I am just a farmer at heart. Gotta say the herbs I grew and dried are so much better and stronger then the store bought stuff!...:-)

Thank you, I took a look at the link and plan to come back to
consider it some more later....It's nice to hear you have one and
with success...I like the idea of a small unit inside too.
