URL: Wet wipes 'to be eliminated in UK |
|
More than 5,000 wet wipes found in an area next to the Thames the size of half a tennis court
Wet wipes, which contain plastic, slowly break down into microplastics that are then ingested by marine life, with deadly consequences.

Or do as I do and buy those bundles of 'cloth shop towels' and use then wash and use again and again and again.
I use them to wipe up kitty mistakes, spills and wet to wipe my hands and if I need a little disinfectant I put some H2O2 (Peroxide 3%) on them. The product of H2O2 is water once it has killed the bad bugs and the towels can be washed to use over and over again.
Of course I also hang them out in the sun to dry so get the sun disinfectant on them. There are many types from smooth to rough towels so look at the home supply yards like Lowe's or Home Depot or your local equal as I have seen in all over the years.
I even keep them in the vehicle for many uses.
No need for paper or plastic anything.
Didn't have this Green Thing back in my parents day as they used and re-used.

I guess I was not fully clear, for everyday I use the shop towels and yes I have packs in my vehicle kit and 'go' bag and a few in storage at the house for those emergency times when one needs to try to get as clean as possible.

Thanks, I think I understood you, but what good are shop towels when one doesn't have water?
