Prioritize what you will need or not need
Enclosed is an emergency partial packing list that I follow. I would immediately fill parts, or all of
this. Tweak as your needs dictate. This list may be of some benefit. A few good places to obtain
quality gear are: Army Surplus, Re-Sale shops and to some degree Pawn Shops.

You did very well, though I think at some times you got the supplies down twice.

Here is what I carry in the back of my car trunk all the time for any time I want to stop going down the road for any reason. Firstly...I gave up on the tent for several extra large tarps and rope....you would need them anyway to water-proof an tent...but tarps can go where tents can't. I you never go out by your won self which isn't recommended...you buddy could carry an tent for two and you the tarps. Tarps some in good for shade also...unless there's no trees around.
So I opted fo ran half shelter..look like an tent but
these are free-standing and can be used for sports games or windy spots or undernear protection for an
quick rain shower..for more protection put them on the side close to an picnic table and cover the table and it use underneath the table for your supplies....cooking, extra. The stove on top an bench to the table will also heat the entire space up as you cook. It doesn't hurt to have an empty pop-corn can with an three wick candle in it...for heating an car also. If it's filled as you take it with you it's just that much mmore ready food to snack on also.

I carry an folding "cot"...I don't like the down on the ground thingy...though I do have several twin sized mattress pads and batteries also. I also carry one Indian type tunic wrap...that's made out of wool, I have no idea what they call them...but they make and entire blanket when you wearing one and can be instantly pulled apart down the middle for quick escape..with it goes an furry blanket and one sleeping bag. I carry one 6 pack of firewood..and one grill to go over it for cooking, and one small personal type
camping cooker, one coffee pot with instant drinks and coffee. One thermos bottle. Palstic food storage bags of various sizes. One bowl, set of metal silverware and couple of heavy duty plastic, one garden shove, and toilet paper and roll of paper towels. One small hatchet, with an end made like an hammer. Candles. One small cooler that would hold six can's of pop in it, that is submersiable into and creel for cold storage
with water running across the top of it. Nutrition
bars, Jerky, Instant oatmeal..like Apple Cinnmon, and various cookies and desert cup cakes that I chang eout and replace every three months. An package of socks,
slippers with soles in them...extra pair of tennis shoes...would probably be wearing the boots. Hat, gloves, and big scarf. Two sweat shirs and an full set of clothes, and pair of swim gear. My muti-purpsoe tools of which I have different kinds...one is an compass with fishing gear stored an lures off of it....I take an bigger fishing line on an roll. 200 feet of rope and paracord. EXtrta and different type of liquids to drink..some are power drinks to restore electrolytes. An small book and pen and chalk. Make sure the pen is water proof ink. Cards and an reading book. The bible goes into the back pack along with the
medicines. Big bandages, hankerchief, mirror, sleeping pills or chamomile tea, allergy pills, stuff for the ose, stuff for the throatm aspere cream for numbing
muscles and general pain relief, baking soda for bites and softening the skin. non-sting bactine antiseptic,
and twizzers/needle that kind of stuff in an smaller container. Cookin goil. Two gallons of bottled water.
Macaroni and cheese. Canned chili, Beef stew, salad dressing for pick your own fresh greesn for an salad.
Small canned hams and canned chicken with packets of
Alfredo noodles that need only water...98 cents at most stores. Chicken noodle soup. Beef veggie soup.
Canned chili, and pancake mix with sugar free syrup.
I try to always keep an week's food. Powdered drinks.
Roll of paper towels, and towel and wash cloth. Roll o fheavy duty aluminum foil, utentisls to cook with, sissors to cut with. Toliet paper if no talready mentioned. Your tarps should be both kinds...those
that blend in with the surroundings and those that
are bright orange you can lay on the ground and write
SOS...or Help or emegerncy codes on that can be seen from the air. Also, for the car...shovel, ice scraper,
extra can of oil, spare keys. Tool with scre driver on it with vaious kind of ends on them. Pliers, battery cables. Tire jack and extra tire and inflator. Yes, my
trunk is loaded...bu tI still go the back seat fo rmy backpack...and could get an back car rail for an bike also....and or rubber boat....though I would not carry them around daily. Load them before going on an trip though. I think I forgot the pan for cooking, both frying pan and pot. Right now the coffee pot fits in the pot....good ones that can withstand being on an fire pit...metal cooking tools and hot pads. See, you put them in the coffee pot, and put the coffee pot inside on and bigger pot and put the fry pan underneath...in an platic bag and surround them with instant packages of drinks and oatmeal...and add the cooking spoons an eating utentsil on the side of the
bag. So you see, if I'm in semi-dessert with no big trees, I can place my shelter half tent beside the passenger side of the car. cover It up with an tarp and another orange tarp over the top of the car...for help or to be seen by others. If
I'm at the beach, I can do the same..opposite side away from the prevailing winds and rain...if I'm in the snow..I can set it up someplace flat along the side of the road, where an snow plow won't cover me up. So far I like it...and it looks nice enough the local RV Park won't mind me fishing off their dock under it in the sun or rain. I can also at night push It closer to the fire pit for warmth also. My stuff is good quality..but not expenisive stuff. Some of it can be bought at the Goodwill beside camping stores. If you buy towels at the Goodwill for next to nothing if you leave one or come up missing one it's not as big an
problem as having bought an pricey item. Meals, breakfast, snack cakes and coffee or pancakes, or oatmeal...lunch two different kind of soup, nutrition
bars. ready made popcorn. Dinner Macaroni and cheese, fresh picked greens salad, and jerky....chili bowls
slices of canned ham wraps, Beef Stew...cookies..power drink...candy bars. That would cover an weekend outtting....depending on the season you can buy bags of
fresh fruit also for snacking on and crackers of various type and hard cheese...put them in your backpack...or car.

Sorry for the misspells...my "hacker" must be reading this...but you can get versatile also with the cooking supplies to stretch them out...for instant, take an loaf of frozen bread place it in an plastic gallon bag and some jam, it unthaws over night for "Fry Bread"in the morning or at night....add and couple cans of green beans and use the ham for dinner...the crackers and cheese can also pair with an big can of BBQ beans...and of course the fresh fruit. I di dnot put in any weapons, but fire crackers/flares will wake up everyone for miles around...you can also go fishing for an meal
if need be...and you should have some of the salad dressing for an sauce on it also.

Alert from John Moore; EMP

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have high-level, trusted, private source advising that between now today, (10 January, 2017) and 18 January, 2017 (even more so between 13 and 18 January 2017) we have an enhanced likelihood of an EMP attack against the United States.

My recommendation is to treat this bit of intelligence as a drill. I can't say with certainty that an EMP will happen on the dates give. I can say with certainty that we (the USA) are at risk of an EMP attack 24/7/365.

1.) Review the protocols you will follow if an EMP attack was to happen.
2.) Make sure that any gaps in your plans are dealt with ASAP.
3.) Make prudent preparations that fit your personal situation.
4.) Dozens of articles on EMP preparations are available at: www.survivalblog.comand www.ruralsurvival.info
4.) Pray, Pray, Pray

I say again: Prudent Preparations i.e. Do Not quit your job, load up your family & camping supplies in the mini-van, and head to the National Forest based only on this alert.

With regards,

John Moore
