This guy is exceptionally creative! He created a kayak
from tree branches which were wrapped in clear plastic.
He makes exceptionally sharp knives and hatchets from old
metal files ... all heated in his home-made kiln.
You've got to check it out, especially for SHTF
scenarios.
The videos are in the Russian language. However, he so
thoroughly tapes each step in the process so you don't
really need a translation.

That's the hottest thing going these days, over here they generally use tarps, they must have thicker and stronger plastic then we do over here...if you watch "Live or die" on national Geographic channel you'd see Colbert and one other guy that makes them,
the ither guy makes his completely round..he feels they are less apt to tip over. Plus theres more room to put in your belongings. My neighbors just bought him and her
kayaks...store them in their garage. I don't know if they have taken them out as yet or not..wanted some nature time. He's got an lot of medical issues right now....needs some time in nature.

I enjoyed this Curly Bear & watched several. I wish it was sub titled.
He makes it look easy.
