I'm going to have to get one of these. Looks like Amazon has good prices,
especially if you want the full package set-up.
Every year in Indian Valley, not far from here, they have a Solar Cook-off.
It's very popular.
I was thinking how much it could help out. Saving higher costs of
electricity or gas, keeping the house cooler in the summer, power outages,
I even thought how it would work inside a window, to help heat the house
in winter. Sure you would have to keep turning it, but every little bit helps.
Of course you would have to plan your meals around the sun, so early
cooking in the winter. Storms, super volcanos, and nuclear winters could
be a problem too.
But this is definitely on my wish list.
