Not sure if boppy would want this asked elsewhere, but
this seemed appropriate to me...

So yeah, Cayce studies first book/books to read?

Another site/person to check out would be this guy:
John Van Auken
John Van Auken is a director at Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E.,
and is one of the organization’s most popular speakers,
traveling throughout the U.S. and abroad to address
audiences on the body-mind-spirit topics found in the
Edgar Cayce readings. He is an acknowledged expert on
the Cayce readings, the Bible, ancient prophecies,
world religions, meditation, and ancient Egypt. He
writes Venture Inward's Ancient Mysteries column and is
the author of several books, including Edgar Cayce on
the Spiritual Forces Within You, From Karma to Grace,
and Angels, Fairies, Demons & the Elementals. He is co-
author with Ruben Miller, Ph.D. of the recent book
Edgar Cayce on the Mysterious Essenes: Lessons from Our
Sacred Past. To view John's upcoming schedule of
events, visit our events search page for "John Van
Auken."

I have the CD with Cayce's 14,400 readings on it. bought in the 1980s.
there were so many subjects to study to me it was reading all that his wife
transcribed. and then search out the subject words.
as for books, every author has his own desires
and wrote that way. I do not know if a membership gives you access to those readings.
but through the A.R.E. I did find these you-tube videos.
other wise a visit to the ARE and study in their library.

the other thing is when/if you find a book of interest go to your own library and
ask for them to find it for you and do a inter library loan.
I had a very helpful librarian out in CA who did that.

I do not know if the readings are available on CD any more last time I saw it was
advertised at $107.00 them was about 5 years ago, I do not see them now.

I'd recommend Hutton Commentaries - he was a geologist
and verified many of Cayce's readings. You can look on
line- and find archives of his stuff.
I have this info posted on my youtube channel for
years.

*Did Cayce mention this star and or light seen again in
the heavens?
as a sign for changes in the Earth bringing about the
magnetic pole shift?
It is the time to go within to find our assurance for
at least spiritual survival.

Excerpts from Edgar Cayce READING 3976-15
19 January, 1934
https://www.huttoncommentaries.com/article.php?a_id=73
7. As to the material changes that are to be as an
omen, as a sign to those that this is shortly to come
to pass – as has been given of old, the sun will be
darkened and the earth shall be broken up in divers
places – and THEN shall be PROCLAIMED – through the
spiritual interception in the hearts and minds and
souls of those that have sought His way – that HIS star
has appeared, and will point [pause] the way for those
that enter into the holy of holies in themselves.
3976-1, Par R2 (12/20/34 EC note in re ’36), and 3976-
10, Par. 4-A, 5-A on 2/8/32 in re ’36 changes.]

Thank you, I used to have a few books, from the 60s early
70s maybe, but successive moves and the occasional book
purge and they went by the wayside... and then recently
I've felt a call to revisit his work. Again, my thanks...

There really are so many written about him, RIG, and his
readings...hard to know which to recommend... Hoping
Pamela chimes in here, she's studied Cayce extensively
and I'm sure would have an excellent educated opinion on
best title(s) to start with...

I'll recommend this one (just using the Amazon reference
for convenience) because my friend Karen, who married
into the extended Cayce family and worked in the A.R.E.
Press and archives for many years, also worked with the
Kirkpatricks on their story of Cayce's life and its
impact on so many...

If you're seeking something more objective/scientifically
evaluative, that takes a more left-brained approach to
all he experienced, this one probably isn't ideal as it
sources from people very close to him... I don't know
anything about this work, but just did a quick search on
"objective view of Cayce's work" and got this:

Window to God: A Medical and Scientific Analysis of the
Edgar Cayce Readings by T. Lee Baumann

Hope this helps...

Thanks, contrary to what may be thought, I've always
tried to reach for and process information from both
hemispheres... ;)
