The days grow short as cold sets in
with evening glow just before the
snows that will cling to the arms of
her mighty grove as she sleeps deep
and long dreaming of long days to
come with the hovering sun where
cool nights sooths her leaves
putting on a brilliant show,
sparkling those with flickering love
singing songs as gentle breezes
caressing her so.
The nights grow longer as her dreams
become deeper and sweeter with
golden orange and yellow leaves
flickering and teasing the soul's of
those who brave the coming winter
sound.
Her long sleep in winter, and the
short intense summer fill her with
loving grace with the last fall
blazing show, creating a glow of her
mighty grove.
Spring comes, and waking is near as
long winter dream finishes it's show
as she soon lives her dream with
fresh spring leaves with summer noon
to sparkle her leaves with gentle
breeze as fall brings the brilliant
show enriched with love of lively
spring and summer glow which was
stored just for your soul.
Waiting for winter numb and
twinkling stars, she moves her
energy below where mother earth is
snuggling warm, where she will once
again dream of her latest show where
the aspens grow.
