The blowing hot dry air
With it's sweet desert smell
Brought on by the scorching heat
With thunderstorms moving in from
the south
Of the moist monsoons
Bringing a buzz to the air
Creates electro acoustics
Making my soul sing
Within the desert's breath
Coming from a land untouched by man
Being touched by God's hand
Seeing the desert so pure
Makes me tremble and shake
With a love so deep
Spewing tears from thee
With towering mountain peaks
Reaching the electric blue skies
Pulling down Heaven
Letting me know
I'm walking hand in hand
Giving me the feel of the land
Chuckles
What I'd felt when wandering the
desert when I was a young kid in the
Colorado Desert.
