Saw Ram Dass at a lecture fifty years ago. His guru
Maharaji visited me a few times after that. My spiritual
teacher Rolling Thunder, Maharaji and Ramana Maharshi
helped me out of a horrible predicament over 30 years ago
Rolling Thunder referred to the East Indian spiritual
masters as his brothers. So they are all connected.

One of my most important teachers... How wonderful to have
been there... ;)
I agree, they're all connected, and I'm glad you had that
high-caliber facilitation for such a difficult time...

Corey was a high school acquaintance who ended up at
Rolling Thunder's house. My friend Dave who visited RT
with me had recommended Corey to also visit. Corey got
along great with RT and worked very hard there. Corey
was thinking of traveling to Mt Shasta and contacting
the people who supposedly live underneath the mountain
after he left RT's place.
One day Corey asked RT if he could go to a seminar held
by Bill Baumann in Utah and RT agreed and gave him some
money. Bill Baumann was a good guy but I didn't
resonate with his teachings. Corey left the seminar and
was coming back. He was out of money but he always had
good hitching a ride.
So he was thumbing on I-80 but was having no luck.
Eventually a man driving a motor home stopped and
picked him up. Apparently, the man delivered motor
homes to various dealers across the country.
Gorey began talking with the man and he was greatly
surprised that the man seemed to know everything about
him. He also knew about RT and said that RT worked
with the natural forces as his spiritual path. He said
he had taught some of RT's students. He also told
Corey that he didn't need to go to Shasta to get what
he needed.
Corey was amazed by these statements and asked if he
wanted to stop and see RT. The man said he was on a
tight schedule and could not stop.
that was the last that Corey saw of the mysterious
stranger. He never identified himself in any way.
After Corey left RT's place he met his soulmate. I
will leave the story at a happy place.
So who was that mysterious stranger? Which group does
he belong to? This happened about 30 years ago.

Yes I read Meetings with Remarkable Men by Gurdjieff.
Recommended for any spiritual aspirant.
