Lol, when it gets warm enough to celebrate here, (its
not) but at least its not freezing here anymore,
usually around July it warms up to summer temps, so far
rain rain rain for 2 months, have the heater going,
fully clothed and a blanket on my lap. I like to wear
capris and wear my summer sandals. So far not
happening. High today, 56 degrees F. I buy organic
fruits/veggies, like watermelon, grapes... make
summertime salads, lots of cukes and onion salads with
my home made vinegerette dressing; salt/pepper, white
or organic vinegar, mustard, olive oil, dash of sugar.
Would really like to start a small fire pit fire, but
not allowed here in the city. Just more mindful of the
changing season, thankful for it warming up a bit. In
the small yard out back there are Mullen growing free,
will take time to harvest them when ready, Mullen good
for all sorts of things. Not bothering to plant stuff
any more, too crippled, used to do gardens all the
time. Such is aging and not being mobile as I used to.
🌺🌿🦋🌞 Saw a beautiful butterfly today, a Monarch,
and the small birds coming to check on me to see if I
leave bird seed out for them.... they followed me from
my previous address here in town. I bird watch more,
especially the crows. And take Sunny out in his cat
carrier so he can enjoy the Sun.
