Subject: Witchcraft expert publishes WaPo piece claiming 'dangerous' Christians

I am seriously scratching my head wondering where to
put this. Im looking for some conversation around this
issue
'RavenHawk mentioned to Greene that seeing the
occasional Christian "disrupter" at these events was
routine, but now "the groups that have appeared this
year ‘aren’t just protesting.’ She added, ‘They are
collectively at war with us. They made that clear.’"

Describing their "war" tactics, RavenHawk said "the
evangelists and street preachers walked through
WitchsFest, holding up signs and preaching through
amplifiers. By the day’s end, their presence had caused
class cancellations and vendor closings."

As Greene reported, these wiccans and witches don’t
have "formal networks of houses of worship and often
living far from fellow practitioners" so they "depend
heavily on assemblies with names such as Pagan Pride
and Between the Worlds to share information and
camaraderie."

"While some are held inside conference centers or in
hotel ballrooms, summer events tend to be visible and
hard to secure," Greene added.

And when these summer events are secured, Christian
preachers make a scene. "In 2016, Nashville Pagan Pride
Day was visited by street preachers Quentin Deckard,
Marvin Heiman and Tim Baptist, who marched through the
event with signs, Bibles and a bullhorn. In 2017, the
Keys of David church protested Philadelphia Pagan Pride
Day," the author reported.

Greene mentioned that Christians show up at indoor
conventions too"

It is this mentality that persecutions commited by
Christianity were born from the earliest days of
Constantine all through history. That includes of course
the persecution and killing of so called witches.

Some of the most famous are the Albigensian crusade,

In the 13th century, they became more numerous, to the
point where harassing them by the local population was
no longer enough to dislodge them. They were known, by
this time, as Albigensians, for the town of Albi, in
which they were dominant. The Church could no longer
ignore this threat to their authority (the Albigensians
rejected the need for the clergy or the Church
hierarchy). Pope Innocent III called a “crusade” against
the Albigensians. While the Albigensians mounted a
spirited defense, defeating the Church forces several
times in the first two decades of this crusade,
ultimately, the Church won, and the Albigensians were
destroyed.

Dominican friars, considered experts in handling
heretics, were called in, to re-convert the Albigensians
who had been taken prisoner. It was here that the
Inquisition was born.

The Massacre at Béziers occurred on 22 July 1209 during
the sack of Béziers by crusaders. It was the first major
military action of the Albigensian Crusade.
