To you too, Sue... ;) For me this year its energy feels even more expanded out between last couple days of April through it's exactitude at 15 Taurus on May 5th than usual! But then these are outrageous times, so...bigger cyclical energetic doorway of New Light, maybe...or maybe it's just me... ;) Came across this whole Scottish site devoted to not only Beltane but all the cross-quarter festivals, how they're bringing them forward in their own ways into current expression... Thought it might hold some interesting bits... ;) |

Thanks, I always not this season and remember the actual cross-quarter date which was hidden when the RCC papal Gregorian calendar fixed it to May 1st when the halfway mark is yet a few more days away on 5-5. --May 5th is the actual halfway mark (ie. cross-quarter day) between solstice and equinox so this date is the May Day/Beltane in the northern hemisphere and Samhain in the southern hemisphere that used to be observed before the RCC papal Gregorian calendar fixed it to the date of May 1st. https://www.archaeoastronomy.com/2022.html |
