For me it's always very moving, reading about people's
near-death experiences, especially when they remember so
much that changes their lives so powerfully...but Eben
Alexander's takes it to a whole 'nother level, right?
Haven't taken time to watch this yet, just woke up, but
loving being reminded of his story... When someone like
this, with such a strong & brilliant left/academic mind,
goes through a radical, unexpected & intense right-brain
initiation such as this...wow, talk about quantum
breakthrough...!
Will watch this later, it's great to know he's still out
there sharing about it... ;)

I'll link the actual article written by Luke Dittrich,
which I read last night before you posted your
link...it sent me on some more investigation into this
guy and both his article and the one you posted did not
address the fact why he is no longer practicing
medicine. He likes skirting around that fact and
adroitly sidesteps it whenever asked which is why I say
this guy is a shyster imo. If he did this throughout
his career....then everything else must be scrutinized
to the validity of his claims.
Although it is true he did not lose his license, he has
effectively been cobbled to no longer being able to
practice medicine. Dittrich touches on this in his
article but I did a further dive into those claims, as
well as look at his "heavenly" claims and once a liar,
always a liar.
What he fails to mention is that he had been sued so
many times for malpractice that he was careening from
one hospital to the next as he couldn't hold down a job
for long as he had been terminated from multiple
hospital positions. Ebon tries to glibly explain this
away and the reason why I said he should actually be in
jail is that he falsified records to cover up his
malfeasance.
By the time his illness happened...he was out of
luck..with no form of income. Which is why people have
questioned his sincerity in the recounting of his story
and rather opportunistic "fortune".
I understand that surgeons can make mistakes and in the
US which has a very litigious mindset...doctors must
protect themselves from fraudulent claims, however it
was the medical community and the Virginia Board of
Medicine that took away his surgical privileges. He has
not worked as a neurosurgeon for well over a decade. He
then consumed large amounts of writings of NDE's from
other writers and (at least to me) plagerized some of
their own experiences and reworked them to make them
his. I have no doubt he was hallucinating while in
his medically induced coma, much like someone who has
low oxygen levels...but he claims he was literally
brain dead...which he wasn't.
He's opportunistic in the fact that just right after
writing his book and looking to promote it...that
funnily enough Fox and Friends had him on to ask him
about what the massacred children of Sandy Hook were
feeling, seeing their dead bodies. That is what breaks
the camel's back for me. Too many people profited off
the backs of those children.

okay,thks for your input. Plenty of legit NDE out there
including my grandothers and mine. Like I said I just
found this guy last night. I guess he doesn't believe in
karma. If what you say is true, allot to account for.

Yup...he spins a good yarn and is very practiced at it.
I quite frankly don't know why this shyster isn't in
jail...
More to follow...must get some zzzzz's first though:)
