thanks Joe.....and yessss :-)

my personal word for 'God' now is 'All that is'

I had that loving experience in 1983 and it was
so awesome, feeling the 'love energy' pouring
into me...it was like being under a warm shower
and I bawled like a baby. I have never ever
felt 'un-loved' since then... I know 'it' is
all around all of us, just there for the asking
and accepting..:-)

Hi Kay

Had an experience where we were all One. Everybody was
part of everyone else. So what we do to others is also
what we do to ourselves and what others do to us, they
are also doing to themselves. It is all true. So act
with that in mind at all times.

Hope things are going well with you!

I watched this earlier today and then fell asleep after
I watched it. I like his testimony of Creator being
bigger than petty religions. I don't see him as losing
faith. I see him as losing religion. I stopped being a
Christian in 1989 through many varied
experiences(dreams, out of body, NDE) which were very
spiritual but not the Christian dogma.

Yes, he lost his belief in his "religion". Growth
requires shedding of old beliefs. Look at all the
things you have outgrown since you were a child. It
is helpful to have OBE's as it gives us perspectives
outside of physical limitations. NDE's can be life
altering. Not everyone can handle them of course and
many interpret them as reaffirming their old beliefs.

I was having "religious discussions" with all my family
and so called religious leaders since a child. :) I
questioned everything.

I've heard folks speak of having similar experiences,
coming into that so-beyond-words space of Infinite
Love, the Presence of God, via NDE, then
returning...and facing life Here again, where that
Reality simply has no translation... This gentleman
does so especially wonderfully... ;)

The way he describes it reminds me of my earliest
babyhood/childhood memory, of *knowing* that the fear-
based religion of my mother's family, and how they
identified wand experienced God, had nothing
whatsoever to do with me, and what I experienced...
I've *mostly* worked through the effects of their
well-intentioned abuse, unavoidably seeing me as a
satanically-influenced heretic who shouldn't exist,
understanding they could do no differently... ;)
...and am still learning how to open deeply enough to
really humanly/emotionally *feel* the Infinite Love
this gentlemen felt in his experience as meant for me,
as well...though I do already *know* it within deepest
territories of me, that so early in my life defined
such a massive contrast between what lay within me and
what I was surrounded by...

When I've let go of enough to allow that Opening, I
know all lurking vestiges of residual anger I still
carry toward those whose spiritual truth and reality
resonates as my mom's family's did, and toward so much
that's divisive, exclusivist and unconsciously abusive
within hierarchical religions, will disappear as if it
was never there... ;)

Thank you for posting this, Joe... ;)

Hi Shadow

It sounds like you were subjected to a "totalitarian"
form of mind control. So many people are still in
thrall to a similar regimens. Just look at the horror
in Afghanistan. The true believers have no problem in
enslaving and killing those who do not go along with
their beliefs. How do we deal with such fanatics? The
world has a long way to go and I fear we may never
get there. Our species will go extinct before it
becomes reasonably enlightened.

It takes a lot of courage and conviction to free one
self from that type of conditioning. It is good that
you did but as we both know, that is only the first
step. The road goes on forever to who knows what. I
wouldn't want it any other way,
