I recall spiritual exercises
that included seeing through
other parts of the body that
eyes, such as fingers.

Interesting thanks Mitra. I had a friend who was blind
and had prosthetic eyes and she would just blow me away
with what she could "see"...and although we know that
other senses are heightened when one is taken
away...the stuff I witnessed with her..was truly
remarkable.

That's a fascinating article. Thanks for posting it.
I've had experiences of knowing, being conscious of conditions within the
bodies of others after being around them. But then that extends to
situations of spontaneous 'knowing' about experiences or situations of
another (in the form of visual metaphor) which have nothing to do with the
physical body.

According to lore (I once read
and no longer can reference)
witches used familiars to see
through their eyes, it truly is
a non-local world.

I just watched something like this on tv the other
day. It was a man who had his eyes removed due to
cancer when he was an infant. And he could "see" his
environment and could even draw it. He had been
studied numerous times. I think it was The Unexplained
with Shatner. Amazing
|
