This is a few years old & don't know if he still offers his Angel Academy
classes, but do remember seeing them on his website and they weren't
cheap. Be wise and just move on. Better yet, just look within. It's free!

I wasn't sure if I should post this here, or on r/skeptic, but I decided to do
this sub in case any other atheists find themselves in my shoes - having a
friend who's being suckered by this exploitative woo. It was, in fact, my lack
of ability to find a tear-down of this charlatan on reddit that prompted me to
make this post.
If you aren't familiar with this guy yet, the gist is that Matt Kahn is a (rapidly)
rising figure within the world of spirituality. He published some youtube
videos that went viral a while back, Emotional Oneness being the one that
hooked my friend. I could've sworn it had over a quarter million views when I
first looked at it, but the version I find now only has ~70k. Regardless, on we
go.
When my friend (who I met years ago, shortly after he escaped an abusive
Christian org) began talking to me about this, he down-played Matt Kahn's
woo quite a bit. From watching the youtube videos he'd come to the
conclusion that Mr. Kahn believed that our "True Divine Nature" was nothing
more than the idea that our inner child is what people tend to mistake for
god. That doesn't sound too bad, does it? I didn't think so, but I didn't take
my friend's assessment at face value either, and it turns out the real
message is much less defensible.
Matt Kahn runs a website called TrueDivineNature.com. Donotlink url. From
his wonderful (lol) website, I learned the following bits of info:
Matt Kahn claims to channel the Akashic records as the source of his
"wisdom".
He claims that our real "True Divine Nature" is that... drumroll please... we
are all angels in the making! Earth is one big angel factory, and on
September 27th, 2015, 1/3 of us are going to awaken to this reality and live
in five dimensions (he doesn't seem to state what the other 2 will be). To
find out more, you can purchase each of his three Angel Academy mp3s for
only $222 a piece! (What a blessed number, amiright?). That means, that to
learn about your angelic underpinnings, you must pay Matt Kahn the ripe
and totally justifiable price of $666.
But wait, that's not all! In addition to Matt's Angel Academy lectures, he has
26 other mp3s for sale. If you buy 1 of each of his mp3s, you're looking at a
total of only ~$1750! What a bargain! These special mp3s include gems
such as The Facebook Meditation, and Finding Inner Peace Through the Joy
of Chocolate.
Now I know what you're thinking - what if I'm deaf, or simply can't afford the
$1750? Well good news friend, Matt Kahn has a book coming out next year,
from a very special publisher called (I shit you not) Sounds True
Publications. Sounds True. Just let that sink in for a minute.
But what if you need a more personal connection to Matt? Well,
unfortunately you may just be shit out of luck, b/c his $285/hr Personal
Sessions are booked until May of 2016 (even though he'll be an angel long
before then, right?).
Mr. Kahn books 7 of these personal sessions every weekday (that's
$1995/day, folks!) and charges you in advance, which means he has made
approximately $520k off these Skype sessions alone since his videos went
viral. But don't worry, just in case you forget (or are too busy living as a 5D
angel), according to Matt's website:
All sessions serve your sincerity of heart and honor your deepest
commitment to yourself by being non-refundable.
Oh. Fuck.
But how will you know if Matt is really your spirit-kin if you can't pay $285
for a Skype session? Oh, well that's easy. See, every other weekend Matt
does spiritual retreats throughout the country, where you can pay ~$50 to
be part of the audience. That way, even the poorest of saps can be taken for
a ride.
And this, my friends, is why the preacher's kid within me wants to start a
cult. This charlatan, with his well rehearsed body language and tonality, will
probably break a million this year by peddling his woo to gullible people who
need something to believe in. This man, who changed his last name to Kahn
(Con), signed with Sounds True Publications, and charges $666 as a subtle
fuck-you to the people he's bleeding dry, is a smashing success in the world
of spirituality.
Fortunately, after bringing all of this to my friend's attention, his skepticism
has been renewed and his admiration of this huckster has fallen completely
apart. It is my sincere hope that in posting this, at least a few more will wise
up to Matt Kahn's game. Thanks for reading."

teachings, a bit of Reality Check here: While there are
certainly programs he charges something for, each and
every teaching he's offered that has been literally
lifechanging for me, at least, on my own spiritual
path, exists entirely free of charge on his YouTube
videos...
While I take no issue with teachers who must charge
something in exchange for their offerings, I've never
spent *a penny* on anything from him save seeing him in
person last summer...) ;->

Yes, actually you are posting to attack, Akira, and you know it very
well! This isn’t our first tango around this block, but it’s your same old
tune playing...
I’m an intuitive healing facilitator as well and, while I’ll still hold every
respect for your own context of perception, your perceiving Matt as a
fraud, and his teachings as invalid, is definitely not one held by most
*who have actually taken in, and tested on their own experiential
terms, the substance of it*...

over 7 years, now, and know their contextual gravitas
