I spent half an hour with a long-eared owl. The face is part human, part cat, part seal, and affixed to a head that twists 360 degrees.

Wow, thank you Ehre, what a beautiful piece...
How wonderful, the depths of sensitivity and perception this being offers us in sharing his encounter with this amazing creature... The Natural World holds so much sweet medicine within it for all of us, if we can just align our frequencies with theirs enough to Receive them... ;) I'll have to check out his book of essays!

Thank you for the post/link= Beautiful writing, strong empathic perceptions and graphic detail. This is why Shamans are seen as crazy. They have gone into this world of Nature and seen, understood and communicated with LIFE! Most people haven't and never will in their entire lives.
