Subject: Gen Patton was reincarnation of Sun Tzu of "Art of War" ?

I don't usually read the GentleWay newsletter, but just found this discussion
of Sun Tzu interesting.

Always been interested in Gen. Patton who rescued the Spanish Riding
School from Austria. The Hungarian Riding School was not rescued and the
invading soldiers ate all those beautiful Lippizan horses wiping out the
breeding stock of carefully kept bloodlines of centuries.

Gen. Patton also turned loose all the German POWs in his charge after the
WWII truce and the prisoners were free to go home (many walked home).
Unlike the other US General in charge of thousands more of the POWs, who
turned them into a secured fenced field without cover or food, where they
were watched dying of exposure and infection over about two weeks.

Posting just because it is an interesting discussion. Don;t know if true or
not. Don't attack me for "believing" this or that or whatever your sore point
is. I look at a lot of things, even things I don't believe, and have become
much wiser as a result. You don't know me or know what I believe. Rant
over.

Happy to see someone else who also looks at a lot of things, even that which might not be PC.
Nice rant.

He also thought that he was a reincarnated Roman
General.

If you believe in reincarnation the it is reasonably
easy to believe that he was Sun Tzu as well as a Roman
General.

If someone has an interest in being a soldier or an
artist, it doesn't seem unreasonable to think that
they would return with a similar life. But hopefully,
they would get better each time.

Sometimes I wonder if it is not reincarnation but
some kind of DNA that is passed down from previous
generations.

We inherit blue eyes, brown hair and a tendency to be
tall or run fast....perhaps we also inherit traits
acquired from previous generations......even if they
skip....and we just consider it 'fast learning' or a
personal passion.

But we never know about it because there is no way to
document the transfer of DNA and we lose the personal
history of our ancestors.

Just a few ideas.

Raymond -
Those have been my thoughts too. Is it reincarnation? or is it DNA coming down thru families and the ages. I went through a period about 15 years ago where I started having flashbacks of previous lives. I began working with someone who triggered those memories/visions. It was scary at first, then I began to understand. I pursued understanding. I am inclined to believe in both reincarnation and DNA. If we know our grandparents/family members at all, the DNA is obvious. Reincarnation is a whole other ball of wax.
