The one about birds is interesting - that they know they bring us messages
from our loved ones who have passed over.
In my life, when I'm going to go through a rough patch in life, an owl will fly
in front of me. Once a barn owl swooped down and flew low down the road I
was walking right in front of me. He flew low and slow 3' off the ground like
this for about a block. I had a health crisis for 3 years. Years later, a barn owl
flew right in front of me sitting on my open deck and landed in front of the
door, then flew into the house and sat on the table. I nearly died a month or
two later, till I moved away from that house. A few years ago a horned owl
flew in front of me. Had surprise surgery after that. Many more owl stories.
Wonderful memories. One was a pueo owl, a daylight owl, that flew along
with the car, we had slowed way down, right outside the side window and
kept looking at me, for about a half mile. Then he moved over the hood of
the car and flew right in front of the windshield, for another half mile. We
were passing owls sitting on every pasture fence post all along the way.
Must have been forty owls. I think I know now, what it meant 35 years ago -
it happened before I learned these things had meaning, had syncronisity.
When in life I'm going to have a period when things get better, a hawk will
swoop in front of me. Before I met a guy that lasted 7 years, a hawk flew low
over the road again, 3' level again, giving that wonderful cry they make. I
was able to move to his place and away from a terrible relative. Last year a
hawk kept flying low over the road in front of me, landing in a tree, then
doing it again and again. Had a clerical corrected bringing me two years of
money I wasn't expecting.
This spring an eagle flew low in front of me. Maybe its about this surprise of
invite to move back to HI.

The book reads like your post about these Owls and their weird behavior yet
that's connected with UFO's. The Owl's are used as a 'screen image' so the
Abductee doesn't realize anything happened to them.
I've had weird Owl stories too and this book gave me chills and insight I
needed. When I see an Owl it's usually when my life is going in the right
direction spiritually. No doubt it's a Totem Animal for you & me but it's
MORE than that too. Check it out.

Your experience is interesting. That's a lot of owls.
And, thank goodness, doesn't necessarily reflect what
the Navajos believe what it means. To them, it means
death is coming. Yes, you had some real close calls
after seeing an owl. But, you had some real challenges
AND came through. So, it would make more sense, like C
said, that maybe it's your spiritual animal.

I wonder is Owl your power animal? Or just a bad omen? He’s some
type of warning system. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
