There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond and to know one's self.

There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.

There is a way that be correct, irrespective of appearing to be correct or not correct; irrespective of some realizing feeling thinking such or not; irrespective of some liking what be correct better and best or not liking these and liking something else... AND in the end, in the middle and at the start it leads to be right and correct.
today I envisioned that 'right' and 'correct' could be used to distinguish 'what one thinks/feels/realizes to be correct' from 'what actually happens to be correct'... looked up in the dictionary these two words and learned that in the first definitions given there is a subtle distinction between "morally good, justified, or acceptable" and "in accordance with the truth"... which sort of seemed to me to be equivalent to the distinction related to what one perceives to be and what's actually there irrespective of one not managing to sense it or ti or managing to sense ti and it and a bit more...

Thank you for sharing your opinion Jody, btw, that proverb I shared was from the "Book of Proverbs" in the Protestant canon....
to be exact, Proverbs 14:12
speaking for myself I always refer to a higher power for help in understanding things of the good spirit cause there is more than meets the eye at first glance. I read that passage when I was a child and it never left me. Now it means so much more to me and as I have experienced it in different forms.
The way I recall reading it was:
There is a way that seems right to man but in the end leads to DESTRUCTION.
Is the same thing as death eternal imo...but most versions translate the last word as "death" so that is what I used.
Truth is like a crystal with many facets.
Best always! ~Eve
