I think it is in Cork, Jeannie, but you'd have to ask to be sure. She usually answers questions in the comments sections. I discovered her vids this summer or so. Really enjoy them. Thanks all, for replies.
I am going to buy her first book. Amazing what she's done there in 13 years. She divulged when she first moved there, she was a chain smoker and meat eater... all of that changed as she put herself into the land.
She has two wonderful cats too. Sammy bearskins and Beauty.

This is exactly what I am doing--or will be doing--on a parcel of pine plantation, gradually restoring it to a real forest like it was before. I'm excited and having the most satisfying sort of fun than I've had in years.
I certainly won't live long enough to see some of it come to maturity, but I don't mind. Someones and some critters will be enjoying that little patch. This sort of thing runs in my family. Had a great-uncle who planted chestnut, pecan and fruit trees, besides magnolias and other natives when he was in his 80s.
