Subject: When You Know Something Is Coming... |

Right now, for most, life is somewhat predictable, or so we want to believe. What's normal is subjective. It's usually things we take for granted, until we don't have them, or things have been so altered, as in upside down, underwater, burnt, smashed, vanished... lots of descriptive words. Just being able to get up in the morning, even through a rotten nights sleep, get your favorite coffee mug, make your favorite brew, sit and pet your dog, or fire up your fireplace, or go out and weed your garden.. just simple things in a daily routine.
Right now, Mother Earth is setting new rules for "normal" in some people's lives.
Florida is doing what they can to get ready, but when Hurricane Andrew is in the back of people's minds... what does "ready" mean and how much will "be enough". Watching the clogged freeways, people leaving with very little possessions, zoos wondering if they will even be salvageable, elderly folks with challenges that pale most on a good day, now what?
8-point-plus earthquake, and Texas, and fires...
America seems under siege, and the infighting between the extremes of political views,...
Spiritual strength is the most essential safety net, when all other "nets" have been destroyed.
My prayer is that Mother Nature is simply doing what Mother Nature must do, and this is simply a cycle that is big and takes time to return, and within Mother Natures "normal", ... just not normal to humans who are living through it right now, or have memories of past events. If this is being aided by what some state are actual device induced or device enhanced instruments, as in "weather wars".... then lets pray for those who are so lost in consciousness who would seek to destroy rather than seek to build.
There will be good to come out of this, either way. It may not seem so at this moment, however, when a bone breaks, the point of the break is made stronger after than the point was, prior. We shall overcome... the old spiritual song...

They always say a disaster brings out the worst in people but also the best
in people. So touching to see people who are left with nothing helping
others. You wrote a beautiful post, Lynn, and I agree wholeheartedly with
you. The earth is always changing, as are we. And, yes, the simple things
in life that bring us contentment and peace--this is true happiness. All
the stuff (electronics, gadgets, fancy cars and houses) is just that--stuff.
Change is a given. Not to change is stagnation. I always pray that when
Mother Earth has her changes (hurricanes, eq's, floods, etc.) it is always
with as little loss of life as possible. Thank you for your very profound
post.

Beautifully said Lynn. Perhaps Mother Nature is aiding humans to
realize what our priorities should be. It's not the almighty dollar &
destroying the earth & her inhabitants. This constant bickering does
nothing to solve anything beside take our eyes off of what is really
happening & what is most important.... which is love

Sorry Lynn I was going to post what happened & just saw your post
below. I was in the hospital & thought that's cool, I like her post & my
middle name is Lynn. I inadvertently while thinking Lynn wrote it
down & didn't catch it until now. Sorry for any confusion.

This is Lynn, the original poster of articles. Evidently there is another 'lynn' who replied, responded to my post, ( which is fine, of course )... however another "lynn" wrote "thank you" ... which was NOT ME posting a response to the responder-other-lynn.
Eithere someone is messing with the boards here, or someone is confused about how to post answers, and might want to check before hitting their post button.
I never wrote, the "Thank You" to this "other lynn". Just to clarify, for this is somewhat odd, and perhaps confusing to some. Or perhaps the 'other' new Lynn could add another name to her Lynn name to keep the posts less confusing. Like Karin, and Karin in Oregon, and many others.. a slight change makes for easier understanding and following threads.

Okay, thanks for the explanation. Easy fix. I just didn't want to take credit for things I did not write, and it looked like I was thanking myself ( lol )... for something I did not even write.. :)
