I'm looking around for some useful meditations or prayers if you will for mother earth. She is hurting bad here in the PNW with the beautiful forests turned to ash. My heart aches. Any ideas?

Pray rain. Literally, smell the rain. You know how a fresh rainfall smells, after a long stretch of no rain. The smell of fresh sheets hanging on a clothesline. Hear the patter of rain drops falling on leaves, when you are standing in the woods. It is a gentle soothing sound. Here the smoosh of your shoes squishing as you walk through a path in the woods, the edges of your soles getting caked with Douglas Fir needles, and muddy goo. See the rain running down the bark, feel the coolness the sudden rains make and the darkened skies, because the rain and cloud cover have temporarily blanketed the view of the scalding suns rays..
Can you smell the rain? Can you hear it? Pray rain. Listen to this meditation/prayer below here. Close your eyes, be "in" this prayer.

I always spend time in meditation praying for Mother Earth. Being grateful for all the earth provides in sustenance and beauty. I affirm that change is always happening in the world (eq's, fire, floods, etc.) but always humbly ask for as little loss of life as possible. Even though the fires here in our beautiful PNW forests are devastating and awful to live with, the fire brings regeneration to our forests.
I've posted the Beltaine Cottage vids. To me they are very meditative and instructional. She has brought her land of 3 acres to be a paradise in the N of Ireland. She honors the Mother Earth with what she has and is still doing there. And for me, personally I find much solace when I view them and part of my daily meditations. One woman did all this herself. So while the fires are raging here with all the smoke, it gives me comfort to listen and watch and plan my own garden plantings. check it out. Also been playing my Rain song.
