Sad news, yet not unexpected.. t Louise Hay passed away this morning, peacefully in her sleep. It has not made mainstream news yet. I just turned on Hay House Radio and a sad tear-filled radio host, Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz ( doing her live show right now )... tearfully announced it a few moments ago.
I am truly saddened to learn, just tonight, that Louise Hay has died.
Her books and tapes have totally altered my life. I have practiced her affirmations for over twenty years.
They work, they really do.
She led me to Ernest Holmes and Science of Mind, UNITY and the entire New Thought Movement. All of which led me to my exploration of Consciousness.
After all that exploring over the years still I always returned to the simplest (purest) and most complete work: "You Can Heal Your Life."
The link is one of my favorite: "Louise L. Hay - The Universe Loves Grateful People"
I am immensely grateful to her for what she has given me.

There Is no death !!It is the most evil lie ever told to Humanity to keep us in fear!!!Those of us who have "died" and/or remember past lives KNOW THIS!!! The threat of DEATH has caused massive amounts of fear which is what THEY feed off of !!! NO DEATH -NO FEAR

By taking such a strongly reactionary stance against the mere and simple word "Death"... YOU are giving it the power you're so desperately trying to deny it...
Death is just death... the cessation of life in this mortal shell... that's all it is... but by "shouting" "NO DEATH-NO FEAR" you're already functioning from the fear mode of being...

Louise Hay was an amazing woman who walked her talk and created so much in her brief 90 years ;) What would she have done with 200 years?? RIP Louise :) Blessings, Jody

Yes, indeed. I agree with everything you just said. I never had he opportunity to meet her in person, however I followed her from the beginning. She helped to shape the consciousness for the better, imho. From healing herself from cancer, without the traditional pills, surgeries, and chemo... To her rising up from a very painful childhood. She inspired, lifted, honored, supported higher levels of expressions greater truths. And, so it shall carry on. She planted many millions of seeds... Johnny Appleseed song...comes to mind. Planting seeds of goodness. We reap the harvest, and perhaps will plant more good seeds, that unknown to us, shall feed, and nourish the heart and souls, for generations to come. Dr. Wayne Dyer died only a few hours before Louise did, exactly two years prior to yesterday. She and Wayne were best friends. And, then there is Princess Diana, and her passing a day apart. Something must be up about August and great spirits? Perhaps.

Lynn,
Louise helped me journey into healing and spiritual life by her example. God bless her :)
I died the same weekend as Diana by dying in surgery and being sent back because "I hadn't done enough, they said" was August 29th, 1997. It was late on the 30th that I woke up in a hospital room and on TV the news broke in with the news that Princess Diana had been in a car accident. Then came back on with the news she had died. So, I knew she was in GOOD HANDS up there 'cause they just helped me!- Lots of Angels.
I'm celebrating the 20th anniversary of my NDE this week and I'm grateful to be ALIVE! :) Blessings, Jody

I'm very glad that you had more to do here on earth so you could share that experience with us... I truly believe that dying is only the beginning of life on another realm... we will all find out when our time comes! Thank you Jody and may God continue to BLESS YOU!

Hi Kat, Thank you :) Creator has many plans for us and most of them we are unaware of. Maybe by those having NDEs, these people wake others up?! We're all rising in frequency and waking up to our Soul's plan and the Divine in all of us. The last 20 years has brought me so many wonderful experiences that I would've missed out on if I stayed in Heaven. I'm very glad I'm here too..Life is a Gift! God is AMAZING!!! :) Blessings to you and your family Kat, Jody

Why can't we just say "Died" anymore?... seriously, our culture in general, and especially the New Age Movement is so afraid of Death we can't even call it that anymore... THAT gives it Power over us... it's like the Harry Potter stories (and others) where the bad guy is referred to as "he who cannot be named", for fear of said individual knowing it was being talked about and or appearing by the very utterance of its name...
Do not be afraid of Death...
death Death DEATH... OOGA BOOGA BOO... sigh... shakes head...

fwiw.... I think it's more what one was brought up hearing in family circles, as a child. I've used the word, died,... passed away, transitioned... For me, the word transitioned ( and this is only for me I speak )... feels more like putting a glove on a shard of glass. It makes it feel less harsh,.. and puts less emphasis on the end, ( some people believe that when people die, that's it, nada, zip, no heaven, no next life, no eternal life, no hereafter, no beyond, etc.) For those who do believe in the hereafter, perhaps "transitioned" seems more in honoring an eternal existence. I heard the term, passed away,... more of a Southern thing, from the time I was a little child. Either way.... people around the earth are mourning her passing, and those who believe... she still lives. She took off the body suit, lightened up, and flies with the butterflies, the wind, the sunbeams, the rainbows, and is the diamond glint on snow....
Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.
I wonder about atheists... As the old saying goes, there are no atheists in foxholes..
This death, died, ... passed on, passed away, transitioned, ... it's a personal thing. Whatever soothes the aching heart. Louise left an amazing footprint on people's hearts.... so dying, died..... passed away, which is a way-older-saying then any New Age upgrade/change in words. Remember, if you are old enough, when the word, "gay" meant happy and light spirited, carefree.? It simply meant to observe someone being "happy". Now, in today's culture, if you use the word, "gay", as in "He is so gay",..... you might get someone up in your face. Whereas, the word "gay", originates from centuries back. Many words change,... and not due to New Age hacking as you suggest. First there was the word and the word was with God. It's not the word, it's the power behind the word, and the "intention" behind the word...
Words. The power and changes in "words", the redefining.. and the impact. Go out today, and find a happy light spirited person, walk up to them and say, "you are SO GAY"... They'll either consider it an insult, if they are "straight" lol. If they are indeed "gay", ... well, what might their reaction be? Word police. What are people afraid of?.... words? Intention, meaning. Politics... Can't we use the word, gay anymore? Not if you want to be understood in todays cultural norms. Remember when negro was a normal accepted word? Then "black", then African-American... and of course the other words used to inflict lack of respect for a being. Intention is everything. I can't imagine trying to learn the English language... lol. The various words, their continual changes in their accepted meaning, ...
Do you really know if people are afraid of 'died'?.... or has evolution, as in all words continuing to evolve, be dropped, be expanded.... transitioning from a word that no longer holds enough space to inform for changes in consciousness. Otherwise everyone might be using the slang words for various people that many have evolved passed, thank heavens. Oops..., "thank heaven". Surely to offend a word police monitor... lol. Or you can call it the big-dirt-nap, if you are an atheist. aka, died. Words. No power unless we give them power over us.

Hi RIG,
It IS a problem; Fear of Death. The PC meme has invaded everything --on purpose -- to change Good to Bad and Bad to Good until everything you know and believe is short-circuiting in your collective heads. We're there.
Truth is the enemy of the Politically Correct. Their motto is: "Never say what it really is".

Yes, the more fearful of death people are, the more they avoid using the word, using euphemisms like 'passed.' Death is real! Your body decays, you can take no material items with you, you no longer have a body. You continue as a soul, which is fine, but to claim that death is nothing at all is misguided. It's a very big change, ask those bereaved and left behind.
Louise Hay, what a life! She helped SO many people in so many ways. Her understanding of what your symptoms are telling you - that alone earns her a golden crown! On whichever plane she now is, I hope she's smiling. :)
